The ministry said it would continue to take measures to prevent the spread of the variant by closely monitoring the situation in other countries.

On Monday, the World Health Organization designated the mu variant, also known as B.1.621, as a variant of interest, the second-highest level in its classification of variants.

It remains unclear, however, how transmissible the mu variant is or whether it is resistant to vaccines.

But in a statement released Tuesday, the WHO warned that the variant “has a constellation of mutations that indicate potential properties of immune escape.” This means that vaccines or antibody treatments may not work as well against the mu strain as they do against the original version of the coronavirus.

In its weekly pandemic bulletin, the WHO added that preliminary data showed reduced effectiveness of vaccines against mu similar to that seen for the beta variant, which was discovered in South Africa and is considered to be more contagious than the original coronavirus.

At present, the WHO designates alpha, beta, gamma and delta as variants of concern, the highest classification.

On Monday, DPP Lim urged the court to sentence Tan to the maximum of six months' jail, stressing that her conduct had been "egregious" and she had lied to a doctor about her travel history.
Defence lawyer Tan Cheng Kiong pleaded for a lighter sentence and told Judge Ng that his client had committed the offence before she was diagnosed with Covid-19.
The lawyer also said there was no evidence to show that Tan was a carrier of the virus when she visited places, including the foodcourt and clinic.
For exposing others to the risk of a Covid-19 infection, an offender can be jailed for up to six months and fined up to $10,000.

The island's health ministry authorised emergency use of the Medigen vaccine last month although clinical trials are yet to be completed.

The Novavax jab uses a more traditional method of recreating part of the spike protein of the virus to stimulate the immune system.

Anyone outside Klang Valley in other states used this weak implementation/loophole to cheat on getting faster appointments before?

Also manual selection/inputs used in the system for appointments behind the vaccination system allowed lots of corruption opportunities and queue jumping to happen.

Seems got private clinics outside taking registrations to slot-in/replace those who skipped/FFK/unable to attend their appointments with a fee from what read in Telegram groups. Some of these doctors work in PPVs as volunteers themselves misuing their powers to earn side pocket money to slot in those who paid undertable if there's extra vaccines unused at end of the day.

People changing their postcodes in their vaccine registrations to less congested PPVs/areas to get faster appointments.

The result is vaccination was given to some young people in ages of 20s with priority only for the elderly above 60s taking a long time to reach those in middle age groups late 20s till early 40s.

What they should have done was:

1) Restrict PPVs with only a small range of postcodes to cover for an area. If you're from another suburb/area, the PPV has the right to deny you from taking vaccine from there. That way outsiders cannot take advantage of less crowded PPVs to get ahead of the queue. Their registered IC address only allows them to get priority vaccination appointments in their own addresses only unless special case living away from your hometown to work then company letter/local proof of residency can be presented.

2) Walk-in only allowed by age groups week by week. No jump queues for younger people as in early 20s/30s/40s before reaching their turns. Those elderly who needs to be prioritized will be given appointments at certain times of the day like early morning before the rest comes in.

3) Private vaccinations to be allowed to ease congestion and provide comfort for those who can afford or doesn't want to wait for appointments.

After taking the Pfizer's Centrum Silver, sometimes my mouth feels numb.
Also if don't drink enough water can feel slightly feverish due to hydration.

Wondering If Covid Deaths Nos. Can Be Surpressed?

Just a question about suppressing Covid reported death numbers.

Is it possible to keep say a Covid Cat 4/5 patient under ventilator intubated just to sustain their lives for prolong period say 3-4 weeks(1 month) until they're free from Covid infection, then pull the plug?

That way the patient even if succumb to death can be labelled as non Covid death and not included in the stats?

I mean if a rich country can afford to purchase lots of ventilators and have enough ICU beds to keep all of them for prolonged periods. Then once they're declared safe and over from Covid, pull the plug allow them to pass then write in the death report as lung failure/pneumonia as cause.

That way the body can be brought out of hospital as per normal death and no need to be quarantined, cleaned and cremated without their loved ones not being able to see them for last time.

I'm guessing the rich and wealthy countries are using this method to suppress their Covid death numbers to make them as low as possible?

What she said was quite true, if a doctor tells you that you got the DELTA variant, do ask the doctor how did he/she came to that is diagnosed because there's no known test in existence that can distinguished between the Delta variant from any type of other COVID influenza variants.

The US CDC also acknowledged that PCR test is also "incompetent" and being thrown out.

Now the question is, could the Delta variant which they call it has something to do with ADE(Antibody Dependent Enhancement) caused by the side effects of the vaccines?

On June 10, Dr. Robert Malone, creator of mRNA vaccine technology, joined evolutionary biologist Brett Brownstein, Ph.D., for a 3-hour conversation on the “Dark Horse Podcast” to discuss multiple safety concerns related to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

In this short outtake from the full podcast, Malone, Brownstein and tech entrepreneur Steve Kirsch touch on the implications of the controversial Japanese Pfizer biodistribution study. The study was made public earlier this month by Dr. Byram Bridle, a viral immunologist.

They also discuss the lack of proper animal studies for the new mRNA vaccines, and the theory, espoused by virologist Geert Vanden Bossche, Ph.D., that mass vaccination with the mRNA vaccines could produce ever more transmissible and potentially deadly variants.

As The Defender reported June 3, Bridle received a copy of a Japanese biodistribution study — which had been kept from the public — as a result of a freedom of information request made to the Japanese government for Pfizer data.

Prior to the study’s disclosure, the public was led to believe by regulators and vaccine developers that the spike protein produced by mRNA COVID vaccines stayed in the shoulder where it was injected and was not biologically active — even though regulators around the world had a copy of the study which showed otherwise.

The biodistribution study obtained by Bridle showed lipid nanoparticles from the vaccine did not stay in the deltoid muscle where they were injected as the vaccine’s developers claimed would happen, but circulated throughout the body and accumulated in large concentrations in organs and tissues, including the spleen, bone marrow, liver, adrenal glands and — in “quite high concentrations” — in the ovaries.

The mRNA — or messenger RNA — is what tells the body to manufacture the spike protein. The lipid nanoparticles are like the “boxes” the mRNA is shipped in, according to Malone. “If you find lipid nanoparticles in an organ or tissue, that tells you the drug got to that location,” Malone explained.

According to the data in the Japanese study, lipid nanoparticles were found in the whole blood circulating throughout the body within four hours, and then settled in large concentrations in the ovaries, bone marrow and lymph nodes.

Malone said there needed to be monitoring of vaccine recipients for leukemia and lymphomas as there were concentrations of lipid nanoparticles in the bone marrow and lymph nodes. But those signals often don’t show up for six months to three or nine years down the road, he said.

Usually, signals like this are picked up in animal studies and long-term clinical trials, but this didn’t happen with mRNA vaccines, Malone said.

Malone said there are two adverse event signals that are becoming apparent to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). One of them is thrombocytopenia — not having enough platelets, which are manufactured in the bone marrow. The other is reactivation of latent viruses.

Malone found the ovarian signal perplexing because there is no accumulation in the testes.

Malone said the original data packages contained this biodistribution information. “This data has been out there a long time” within the protected, non-disclosed, purview of the regulators across the world, he said.

According to Malone, the FDA knew the COVID spike protein was biologically active and could travel from the injection site and cause adverse events, and that the spike protein, if biologically active, is very dangerous.

In fact, Malone was one of many scientists to warn the FDA about the dangers of the free spike protein.

Malone suggested autoimmune issues may be related to free-circulating spike protein which developers assured would not happen. To pick up autoimmune issues, a 2- to 3- year follow-up period in phase 3 patients would be required to monitor for potential autoimmune consequences from vaccines — but that monitoring didn’t happen with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Pfizer and Moderna also didn’t conduct proper animal studies, Brownstein said. What the animal models give us is a signal that alerts us to what we need to follow up on in humans.
