Today I went to tribunal for filing case after complete filling up the yellow form. However, I am unable to find the defendant address.
The officer told me that must have the defendant address only can submit.

Anyone of you have relevant experience can guide me on this ?

Owner refuse to give me back my deposit RM5700. He give funny reason says I damage some expensive stuff inside.

I didn't do that and it never happen.

High Ceiling Curtain installation

my new house living room's ceiling is two storey high and it has double windows (one for 1st floor, one for 2nd floor)
the 2nd floor window is beyond my reach, I can't install the curtain myself.

Any experience ktard can share how to solve this?

Last week a thief break into one of my house (rented out to some tenant), and stole an Ipad + LV bag.

Checked CCTV, the thief live 2 floor above and report to police.

INTERESTING PART:
Made police report, police come, go to his house, lock himself and the thief 1 to 1 in the toilet. I was waiting at outside
Then thief being sent to police station.

Thief say, only steal bag, no steal Ipad.
Thief say sold the bag to China Town. Nothing to return.

Today I see the thief at the same building and he say so sorry to me. I was like WTF?

QUESTION
1) Can police talk 1 to 1 privately with the thief upon seeing him?
2) Potential bribing?
3) How can the thief still roam freely? CCTV already have the footage, he will not being send to jail?
4) How can I claim back my monetary loss?

I'm so dissapointed to Msia police now. Totally lose my faith. Guys, protect yourself, no one can really help you.
