Lowyat sifus,

Would like to seek some advice regarding my 2017 Honda Civic. Recently noticed a few issues and have sent the car for diagnosis. The workshop has identified some parts for repair/replacement, but I’m not too familiar with the usual market rates, so hoping to get some guidance here before proceeding.

Here are the symptoms I’m experiencing:

When pressing the accelerator, the car feels a bit jerky — not very smooth, like there’s a slight pulling/backlag feeling.
Upon starting the engine and even when stopping at traffic lights (gear in ‘N’), there’s noticeable vibration. Can feel it quite clearly, especially from the rear mirror shaking slightly.
When going over bumps, there’s an “eee” sound coming from the tyre/suspension area.

The workshop has provided the following quotation (mentioned parts are Honda original):

Lower Arm (Ori) – RM1,600 (pair)
Engine Mounting Set – RM1,300
Spark Plug Set – RM400
Stabilizer Bar – RM500
Alignment – RM50
Labour – RM400

Would really appreciate if sifus here can help advise:

Whether the diagnosed parts sound reasonable based on the symptoms
If the pricing quoted is within normal market range
Or if there are items that may not be necessary to replace yet

Still learning about car maintenance, so just want to make a more informed decision before going ahead. Alternatively, if there are any reliable workshops/mechanics to recommend, would be grateful as well.

Laptop instantly power off when unplug the charger

Hi, I have a problem with my 3 and a half year laptop. My laptop model is either Asus Vivobook A510U or Asus Vivobook S15 X510UF. Recently, I only find out that my laptop unable to turn on if unplug the charger while the battery is at 88%. The battery status that show below the right corner is "plugged in" but did not indicates how long will it fully charges. It has been 3-4 hours where the battery remain at 88%. The recent thing that I had do is window updates and what I had observe is that my laptop only able to run when I keep my charging port in. Besides, the date and time is also incorrect. The date and time is delay and the time shown is the yesterday time when I turn off my laptop. It will only refresh to actual time after 10 minutes. I have also tried a few solution that I search from internet which is update the latest bios for my laptop, Reinstall Battery Drivers, Run Power Troubleshooter and Changing Power Management Settings. I also did reset my laptop but also did not solve the problem.

Addition, previously I charged my laptop until 100% a day before and in the next morning when I tried to turn on, it will operate as usual but after 2- 3 minute it indicates that my power is low (20%) and automatically shut down and I had to recharge again. May I know is it the battery issues? Because I have search over the internet and some of the users that encounter same problem as me did not really solve the issues after replace with new battery. Can anyone give suggestion? Is it the battery issue or laptop other hardware issue? If it is battery issue, may I ask how much does it usually cost to replace an original battery?

Streamyx to Maxis/Digi/Celcom Home Fibre

Is it possible for me to migrate from Streamyx Lite to Maxis/Digi/Celcom Home Fibre?
Because their plan are more attractive. Currently still on Streamyx Lite (10Mbps)

Maxis - RM89 (30Mbps/30Mbps)
Digi - RM90 (50Mbps/50Mbps)
Celcom - RM80 (30Mbps/30Mbps)

When i check the coverage for this 3 said not available at my area? But I heard that these 3 home fibres are riding on Unifi port, if the is Unifi Fibre port available at my area means these 3 also can use? And from what I ask from TMpoint at my area said still got port for Unifi and Unifi is RM89 (30Mbps/10Mbps). But TMpoint at my area said Maxis only sell fibre but does not provide cable installation is it true? So what the Tmpoint person say is Maxis will not run the fibre cable for me, they only do fibre works only? Maybe because my area is rural area. I've been 10 years with Streamyx and when I ask what is the best deal they can provide me, they only give me RM20 discount for the first 12 months and for 13th month will be paying RM89. I rarely use home phone, so i doesn't matter to me.

Or what TMpoint trying to tell me is I only can migrate to maxis home fibre if I already using unifi fibre port?

I'm having a problem on Facebook with Online Seller. Which is i just bought an AirPods and it turns out the serial number of the box and charging case are not the same. But the serial number can be check on Apple Official Website. There's also a defect on the microphone. I ask seller for a refund. He accept the refund that i ask for because they said that they gave out the wrong item. I have all the conversation saved and seller's bank account and phone number only. I don't have his real name. The Bank Account is not a personal Account. And now I have ask for refund and he tell me to return the product by posting it to designated location and he does not accept meet up for refund. I'm afraid that after he received back the item he will try to ran away/block me. He does not reply instantly, only reply after 2-3 days which make me even scare that he will block me after i return the goods. I want to ask if there any law protect consumer from seller ran away? I have made some research that i can submit to Consumer Affairs Tribunal to fight against this case to get back the money if he tried to ran away or block me. If he really ran away and i report to police will there be any possibility for the police to catch him? I post this to get some advice in case this happen so i don't have to panic.
I have no knowledge about these that's why i am here to ask for advice. I had made some research said that online seller which include Facebook and Instagram should register SSM, if not they will be fined according to Business Registration Act 1956 (ROBA 1956). If the seller is registered can i complaint to SSM? If he did not registered can SSM sue the seller? (Not sure if this is valid or not)

There is another buyer who message me and ask me not to return the goods because he ask for the seller to meet up in person but the seller refuse to do so. After that the seller block him. But i didn't ask the seller for meet up yet that's why i didn't get blocked. Need an advice, would be appreciate. The seller sell through a website of his own but communicating through Facebook and Instagram.

This might make me look dumb but i tried to learn from this lesson and avoid from it happening again. Thank You in Advance for whoever reply. Will take this as an lesson from online shopping.

Skin Issues

Been to dermatologist and they just simply look on my skin and they did not run a blood test. I’m having itchy all over my body even my hair scalp also itchy. I have to take medicine like cetrizine to calm all those itchiness. If I did not take the medicine the itchy will be worse. It will burn and sting in my skin which is inside the skin of barehand and foot. I have to use cold water to cool it down because it hot and hurts at the same time, it stings like needles inside my blood. It’s have been almost a year and I’m feel like tortured to this problem. What i have observe is that my skin is dry where the rash spot is. I can’t even sleep properly because i keep scratching it. The rash keeps appear and disappear repeatedly at different spot. It appears incurrately. Did anyone have this issues before please help me through this. Ive been suffering for a year and my life are not the same as before because it’s become my daily life already. 😢😭

Finding Replacement Fan Blade for ELBA Table Fan

I tried to find it on Shopee and Lazada but cannot find the right one. Its quite different from other brand because use other brand with the fans makes the table fan vibrate. Where can i find this kind one?
Model: ELBA 16" Table Fan
Help me . I tried to go to hardware shop that sell this type of things but they say its really hard to find one because rare.
Or the table fan vibrate not because of the fan blade or cause by the damage inside?
I haven't tried to go senheng yet. Econsave got sell the brand but not the fan blade. I bought Khind 16" one its quite similar and can apply but the fans works with vibration. It really scares me. I don't know its damage inside or because different brand of fan blade.
