Hi Guys,

Would like to get some opinion with Dell Latitude laptop E5470 & E7470

is there any other difference other than build quality? which 1 would you choose?

Processor : i5 6300U
RAM : 8GB 2133Mhz DDR4
HDD: 500GB SATA 7200 rpm
Display : 14.0" FHD (1920x1080) Non-Touch Anti-Glare LCD with Camera and Mic

HDD: M.2 256GB SATA Class 20 Solid State Drive

What concern me is the display quality, i got quoted both unit with 14" FHD display, when i ask the seller does it have IPS panel?

The seller told me FHD is already have IPS, FHD = IPS Is it true for Dell latitude series laptop?

Cause when i browse thru Dell website, if got IPS sure will stated out it is IPS right?
On Dell website, tech specs of this 2 model it only stated E5470 have option of FHD IPS display, while E7470 only have FHD.

hi, i notice that nowadays mostly warranty period is 2 years,

unless some promotion will get longer warranty for free.

i would like to know will you guys consider top up some money for extra warranty period?

and does the warranty really helps when problem come??

any sifu can roughly estimate how long the car still can last?? if use daily for work + jam...

it is 1990 saga, white smoke happens +- 2months already.

my hope is can last me another 2-3 month b4 change to new saga blm

i did a search but cant find a proper guide for go through the process. hope some sifus here can clear my doubt,

any runner for jpj/puspakom can share the tips on how the whole process take part??

1. what forms to take?
2. best time to be there (for less ppl),
3. any tips can speed up the process (legal / illegal way )
4. anything should i pay attention to while in the process?
5. other than car geran, photocopy ic, driving license, anything that i miss out?

anyone who got experienced mind to share some advice to me??

just went to puspakom at padang jawa this morning,

and now i am going to answer my question myself

1. just tell the guy there want to do the proton scrap program they, and the u'll get Laporan B2 in the end.

2. arrive there about 7.15am, i am no.6 (open 8am)
done all check up and the report B2 issued to me around 9.15am.

3. can say is quite fast, met a friendly officer who inspect my car.

4. clean up your engine no. make it visible before go,
check your details when receive report.

5. car geran will do

and finally i paid rm25 only...

how to copy a file larger than 4GB

i recently downloaded a beijing open ceremony in mkb format in size 5.1GB

if i am not mistaken i read it somewhere that the NTFS format cant copy any file size more than 4GB???

i want to copy it from my laptop HDD to external HDD.
any1 can help ??

or should i use any software to downgrade the quality and size?? if yes any software recommend?

system hanged when try to play dota

Compaq Presario C700 Notebook [C793TU]

got this notebook from the shell-citibank card promotion.

the problem is when i want to play dota, i will hanged at create game there (when loading the game list).

it got the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 and my driver version: 6.14.10.4964
ram: 2gb ddr2

my parents want to buy a digital camera and some shop quote this canon powershot A590 IS.

i want to ask, is this a worth to buy camera??

can i roughly determine the sq output for a mp3 player (example) by looking at the specifications??

like:
1. output freq range?
example: 20-20khz , 80-20khz

2. output to noise ratio
example: 90dB with A fi lter (Based on 1KHz 0dB)

3. earphones output
example: 20mW (16 Ohm)

ps: the above example is taken from samsung YP-U3 mp3 spec

1 more thing is, when choosing the earphone, what spec should we look at in order to choose the right 1 fit to the mp3 player??

i just wonder will the player limit the potential of the good earphone??

poor quality player + superb earphone = excellent sq <--- this doesnt make sense to me

(no use to spend more on tooooooo good earphones rite?? )

just my some noob doubts... hope the Sifus here can help...

lcd monitor keeps on blinking when power on

my dad's lcd monitor keeps on blinking while the lcd power button light is on.
heres the situation what happen...

1, the lcd just keep blinking when i turn on the computer, after blink a few times, the lcd just black off (the power light of the lcd also black off), then i need to restart the switch on the wall (cpu is running). then keeps blink again

2, continue from the 1, after blinking a few times and black off, i restart the computer, still blinking, but just suddenly working back to normal again . HOWEVER, the next day, (about turning off the computer 8 hours) the scenario happen again .

blink, black off, on/off switch, restart, blink, black off...... normal again

this is the 3rd day liao...same thing happen

any1 can help solve this problem?? i dun think the lcd still under warranty.

btw, FYI, the lcd = HP 1502, and i reconnect the power cable direct to the extension socket instead the crappy psu.
