According to the article below, catfish is now too expensive so demand drop. But if you lower your price, more people will start buying. You should be worried when the price is too low, not when it is too high. So what happen to ikan patin demand?

The fish farmer, who once had a career in the oil and gas industry, said at one point in 2012 he was producing 17 metric tonnes of catfish a month, but after the hunger for them fell due to pricing issue, he decided to taper his production to just five metric tonnes now.

Having already invested RM300,000 in his breeding set-up, he decided to go into eel farming where there is big export potential to countries such as South Korea and Japan, for food, medicine and cosmetics sectors.

Despite not having formal training in aquaculture, he experimented for about eight years to find a way to produce eels commercially.

“I bought nine pairs of eels weighing 6kg for RM132 in 2012. Since 2016, I have produced 300kg of eels for the local market, ” said Zakaria, 65, at his breeding base in Kampung Kubang Puyu near Langkap.

His trial-and-error method included a study on water quality, soil, breeding technique and food formulation (which is now Jakim-certified halal) to get good-size eels that are not susceptible to disease.

He said normally eels are caught in the marshes, padi fields and other boggy areas, but the amount is not enough to satisfy demand from mainly restaurants.

Zakaria is able to sell eels that are under 300gm at RM25 per kg, those between 300gm and 500gm at RM30 per kg and those between 500gm and 700gm at RM40 per kg.

His success has drawn the interest of an investment company from Kuala Lumpur that wants to start a 3,600-pond breeding facility over 20ha in Sungai Tong which is expected to be completed by 2021 and could become a Terengganu aqua tourism attraction.

Zakaria also revealed that his achievement has opened the eyes of many who have visited and joined an intensive course on going commercial.

“Among them are Aquaculture diploma students from Politeknik Jeli in Kelantan, lecturers and students from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan and Universiti Sains Malaysia, and people who want to go into eel farming, ” he said. — Bernama

RM 8 mixed rice. Chinese mixed rice but run by Malay becos in Chinese majority cafeteria. Expensive yes. But really sohai thing is the lemon chicken chop taste like toilet lemon detergent plus luncheon meat taste.

Have you ever enter the toilet cubicle where it always smell like toilet detergent? Some don't like the smell but some ok. But it is not okay when your food taste exactly like that but combined with luncheon meat taste. Real fucuked up. I suspect it has been kept for some days since no one take it. Stupid me but how i know.

Waste RM 4. I never waste food, NEVER. But this one i tell you even Bangla's pet will run away. I m getting poorer everyday. This chicken really traumtising.

Mass Wedding is a horrible idea

I pity them for going through such a tormenting experience.

Imagine surrounded by so many hot brides. All elegantly dressed revealing beautiful figures and you can't stop being aroused. Then there is your future bride next to you possibly not good looking weighed abit on the obese side. Your inner pride gets hurt and you don't really appreciate your bride.

Why in a wedding no one is allowed to dressed better than the wedding couple? So the groom can feel happy being tricked that his future wife is the most glamorous in the room. Mass wedding directly contradicts that and i view it as uncustomary and needlessly brutal to grooms and brides who are not so secure because of their looks.

I feel veru triggered by these Quora users dumbfuck and brainless.

They answer by googling, copy and then paste. And their answers 7 out of 10 times don't even match the question asked. So sohai brainless but want to get famous on Quora.

The main thing is, 7 out of 10 times they are not answering the question at all. If you are stupid and ignorant nobody ask you to answer. Also depend on the type of answer. Millenial brainless shit they answer well.

The second worst of them all are those who twist the question and answer something else as if they very smart. Wtf? This is not Q&A competition OK? If someone ask what is the color of the apple some sohai sei hamkaling will answer: The color of the apple is not important, let's look into its nutritional values.

Hint: Most of them come from India.

Headphone damn expensive

RM 49 after 9.9 discount and free wallet cash. I know it is cheapskate, but i got no choice. Earphones get very fucking annoying after a while. I think i m considering the armageddon pulse 7. But will blow a chunk of my savings away. Lousy product, but way better than my current earphone damn annoying. Feels like some stupid kid using water jet in my case is noise jet to shoot into my ears.
