Instagram error

Recently I downloaded an app that displays best of nine on Instagram. It required me to log in to my account which I did then I logged out and deleted the app after using it. Since then Instagram has temporarily blocked my account daily due to ‘phishing or suspicious activity’. I have to keep changing my password to access Instagram daily and it’s very annoying. How do I stop Instagram from blocking my account everyday?

Yahoo and Yahoo Mail down?

Switching from Apple to Windows/Android

Hey fellow Apple users,

I've been using Apple since 2005 and all my devices are Apple including MacBook Air, Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad mini and previously iPod touch and MacBook Pro. Previously, I was happy with Apple but lately I feel the pricing is getting too steep. I'm unable to upgrade (I'm using iPhone 6) due to financial constraints. I thought of switching to Windows and Android but it's hard to get out of the Apple ecosystem. Once, I tried using an Android phone but I couldn't really sync with my other devices and I was not familiar with the system.

Has anyone here switched from Apple to fully Windows/Android? Was it one device at a time or all at once?

Perhaps one of you can advice an alternative instead?

Sharp MT77 MiniDisc Player

Hello! I bought a Sharp MT77 MiniDisc Player from Japan in 2001. I used it a few years back and it was working. Today, I tried to charge it. It was charging fine and then the lights just stopped. I thought it was fully charged but when I tried to turn it on, it couldn't be powered up.

Does anyone know where to repair MD Players, specifically the Sharp MT77?

I would go to Sharp Malaysia but I don't think they can repair MD players here. Thanks and have a great week ahead!

Instagram search function not working

Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right thread to post but I'll just try my luck here. I'm currently using iPhone 6, iOS11. Since updating to the latest Instagram update, I have been unable to search for anything using the search bar. No matter what I type, whether it's any account, nothing comes up except 'Unable to load search results'. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logging out and logging in yet the problem still persists.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

How's it going? I have an MBP 13" that I bought awhile back. The battery is dead and the speaker is broken too.

I have an MBA 11" now and I use it more often. Should I sell my MBP 13", repair it or keep it?

I think the value of the MBP 13" is not that fantastic either.

iPhone 5 unable to update app

Hey guys,

This is so inconvenient. My App Store shows that there is an app to be updated: 'Squaready'. I tried to update it but it doesn't work. I also tried downloading a new app but that doesn't work either. I've deleted the 'Squaready' app but it still has the same problem. Also soft reset my phone multiple times. Turned on Airplane mode, turned off and then started to update the app but it doesn't work. Any solutions?

Disk Utility to repair external HDD

Hi,

After ejecting my external HDD from my old Macbook, I used it on my Macbook Pro but it cannot be read. I used Disk Utility to Verify Disk and Repair Disk. It can detect it but it says unable to repair and it asked me to back up disk. Using my old Macbook, I tried using Disk Utility on this external HDD to Verify and Repair but the same thing happen.

How do I back up my files when it is unable to repair?

Is there any other free third party software that can retrieve my contents?

I've used it on Windows 7 laptop and it shows that my external HDD is there but the only option is to reformat in Windows OS.

I'm sure over the years, as a photographer whether amateur or professional, you have spent thousands of ringgit on the body, lens and maybe even on prosumer cameras. Do you think digital prosumer cameras or DSLR are worth selling especially if the brand is popular? The condition is mint and when you first bought it, it was pricey that year. What do you think about selling your used cameras? Or should you keep them until they become vintage cameras and rare finds - then sell it for a good price.
