Recently, Nintendo has issued a DMCA takedown notice against Lockpick RCM which will likely come into effect on Monday, Lockpick is a core part of legally dumping keys from the Switch. They claim that it circumvents their copy protection (TPMs) and therefore violates their copyright. We find ourselves in a position where we are potentially violating their copyright by continuing to develop our project, Skyline, by dumping keys from our own Switches.

After much internal discussion, we have made the difficult decision to immediately cease all further development on Skyline. We understand that this is not the news our community wanted to hear, and we are heartbroken to have to deliver it. The risks associated with a potential legal case are too high for us to ignore, and we cannot continue knowing that we may be in violation of copyright law. We would like to emphasize that we were entirely unaware of these potential legal issues before, and we fully believed that dumping keys was legal prior to this notice. Despite this, Skyline itself is entirely legal and we won't be taking down the repository (it will be made read-only) or builds. In addition, all incomplete source code for `texman` and `nnvk` will be made public.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our community for their years of support. The development of Skyline has been an amazing journey, and we are grateful for all the support we have received from our users. We understand that the emulator is not where we ultimately wanted it to be, but we could not have made it this far without your dedication and enthusiasm. We hope that our community understands the difficult position we have been placed in, we thank you all for everything Skyline was and wish it didn't have to end so abruptly... ❤️

Beach House have announced a full release of their Record Store Day exclusive EP ‘Become’.

Initially released in a limited run as a Record Store Day exclusive on crystal clear vinyl on Saturday (April 22), the EP will now see a wider release on black vinyl, CD and CS platforms on May 19 via Sub Pop/Bella Union.

The dream-pop duo, consisting of Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand, self-produced all tracks on the EP. The mixing was done by Alan Moulder, Trevor Spencer, and Caesar Edmunds with mastering done by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound.

“The ‘Become’ EP is a collection of 5 songs from the ‘Once Twice Melody’ sessions. We didn’t think they fit in the world of OTM, but later realised they all fit in a little world of their own,” shared the duo in a press release.

why defuq are all search engines results so broken and doctored nowadays?

everything that you search all keluar product / shopping results

you can't even search for "loafers" or "soles" etc, even in the images tab all pop out shopping shit
even using "-" like "-shopping -lazada -shopee -product" etc, there's still a fuckton other platform results

i'm not looking to buy that shit

i just want info, trivia, tidbits etc about it, everything else

end up had to search for "loafer reddit" etc to get actual digestable results

if bukak shopee, what's the point of advanced search and "sort by" function, if every 2-3 of the result is targeted or sponsored ads?

like sort by price, low to high, first 10 items...

only like the first two result is rm1 and rm3 whateverz than suddenly result #3 result is sponsored ad, and then #4 is rm250, then #5-6 is another rm300-800 random shit and then back to rm4 at #7 and then sponsored shit again at #9 #10 etc

They habe like Indie/Alt slot playing all the trending artists, sometimes even obscure ones?
The one ayam looking for might've even appeared on MTV Asia.

Band is Indie Alternative, maybe Brit

The sound is simple, just simple drum beats repeating, and the guy simply talks over megaphone/microphone.
He was giving instructions on how to survive etc, what not to do.

It's a Civil Defense / Nuclear Fallout / War Prep kind of those old timey PSA.
Video is almost Black and White, maybe Sephia etc discolored.

Old village, old town, kampung people. Filled with silly stuff though.
Like old villagers wearing weird DIY masks, weird different styles of tinfoil hat. They were preparing for the worst, but it was done in comical way, but very deadpan kind of silly, not stupid slapstick gags kind of humour.
