Already in early 40's and not exactly diligent on my oral health.
This Saturday made an appointment with dentist to remove tartar.

Panasonic moving factories to Vietnam, 800 jobs

Japanese appliance-maker Panasonic Corp said on Thursday that next year it will move its Thai-based production of refrigerators and washing machines to Vietnam, laying off about 800 workers.

"Panasonic will reorganise its white goods production sites in Southeast Asia, and transfer the production of washing machines and refrigerators in Thailand to Vietnam," the company said in an statement emailed to Reuters.

Panasonic will dismiss about 800 workers in Thailand, a company spokeswoman told Reuters, adding that the move is part of its plan to improve cost efficiency.

Panasonic would try to place some of the workers in other jobs based on their qualifications, the spokeswoman said.

Panasonic Appliances (Thailand) and a research and development centre will close by the end of March 2021.

After the closures, Panasonic will still have around 13,700 workers involved in the manufacture of small appliances and batteries in Thailand.

Kids are a bundle of joy. Until you've got an important Zoom meeting with your boss' boss and they just can't seem to sit still, that is.

Which is why this Thai family quite literally, taped their young daughter down.

In a series of photos shared on Facebook, a mess of toys and an overturned chair can be seen scattered across the room, a young girl lies in the middle of it all, held down by clear adhesive tape with a pillow to cushion her head.

Meanwhile, a man in the background clacks away on his laptop.

"Mum is cooking, dad is working, daughter is lying in the living room," her mother wrote in her post.

The child, if anything, seems pretty contented with the arrangement, if her expression is anything to go by.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) on Tuesday dismissed as untrue reports that it will announce a full lockdown and keep city residents at home in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

City Hall spokesman Pol Capt Pongsakorn Kwanmuang said the rumour about a full lockdown might have been triggered by Monday's meeting of BMA executives.

He insisted no further measures were tabled at the executive meeting which is held every other Monday to follow up on the operations of agencies under the BMA's supervision.
