Hi all

Im Heading back msia and want to bring back some of my stuff, mostly books (books that are hard to get in msia, and some from old charity stores. Around 3-4 boxes)

Using seven seas worldwide delivery, anyone had experience using them, and particularly in shipping personal owned books? Im more concerned on will there be tax or duty to it? I’ve owned them for years. Have to produce receipt for every book ke? What about those that I found while thrifting at charity stores? 💀

I just had experience with PS5 at my friend house

its 3 years old device

Damn ugly looking and big, he hide it in the Tv table shelf cause he say eyesore (agreed)

Controller feel so cheap (buttons especially) and creaking despite being well taken care

PS plus tier so confusing, even he also dunno which is which ( we getting old cant even care the fine details)

Then go my other friend try Xbox series S

3 years old also

Sleek and simple he easily put on Tv table without looking out of place

Controller feel great and weigh nicely, buttons feel way better, got textured some more grips, and no creaking lmao
.. Xbox one controller also can use with (backwards/upwards compatibility) and somehow no creaking also

Xbox game pass so easy no tiers and can also play online. Idk why ps plus have to have tiers

And the bestest part? My friend installed emulators on the Xbox. Can use retroarch, and ps1 ps2 games using other emu (duckstation and xbsx2). Locally emulated liao without cloud even ps5 cannot do that (as far as i know). His xbox not even jailbreak-ed

Spent more time with my Xbox friend playing our childhood games together my Ps5 friend i play 1 hour then chow boring console

Sial the online system

First i want to transfer out to bank it take 3 days and max 10k per transfer out to other bank (apa lousy punya limit and damn slow?)

Second i cant even transfer out even below the amount max 10k
Asyik application rejected. I tried few hundred amount ok pula. But cannot above 5k. Wtf! It says 10k limit if transfer to other bank. Rejecting me my right to withdraw money. Also why the fuck do they need me to write a ‘reasonable reasoning’ of withdrawal? Aku yang masukkan duit suka hati aku la nak keluarkan bila perlu

Third they put me to go Haj in 80 years time! I dont even know if I will be alive then! Better pay myself go

I wanna transfer out my funds but I don’t have their atm or online service (afaik), last time always bring the book or my ic jer and deposit

Last time i had to withdraw during covid time they say cant do transfer. Forced me to take the cash in front of everyone in queue and all eye me like robber. If u go to proper bank institutions they would at least bring u to a room or a secluded area with dividers ask u to wait and they come bring money to u and leave u alone

What are my options?

Joined a 3 month bootcamp for front end web dev, to try learn new and reskill myself possible career switch..

So far so good, now start learning Java, just finished with html css and bootstrap. After this will learn APi, react and node. I wanna learn python myself after its done.

I am just wondering in malaysia or neighboring countries. Can u get hired without a traditional CS or dev degree?

My degree & field of study totally different. Though i joined bootcamp because it is government funded in UK and promised interviews after its done. But i dunno la in reality can get or not. (I am still based in UK)

I google and read always got the positive stories eg yes self taught devs get hired . But those stories mostly from the States.. no clue bout UK. Definitely no idea about Malaysia!

Anyone self taught or from bootcamp and secured their dev career? Or know anyone?
