Audi A6 1.8 TFSI 2015 Vs Audi A4 2.0 TFSI 2017

Hi All

Am considering buying a used Audi. Choices are 2015 A6 1.8 TFSI (non hybrid) or a slightly newer A4 2.0 TFSI 2017 model which still has some warranty left. Both have a mileage of around 50k or so.

Would welcome feedback from current or previous Audi owners in terms of maintenance, repairs etc. And which car will age better and still be good to drive for the next 2 to 3 years.

Used Lexus from used car dealer

Hi, would like to know if it is safe to buy a used Lexus or Toyota from a used car dealer when the vehicle is still under warranty. I could always check the service history at the authorized SC. Is there any risk if I buy it from the dealer coz odometer can't be tampered if still within warranty, any other thing I need to be careful about?

Used Jaguar makes sense?

Hi sifus and existing Jaguar owners,

I'm considering between a used 3 series vs Jaguar XE or alternatively a used 5 series Vs Jaguar XF , model say 2013 to 2015 and my budget around 100 to 125k.

Would like to know if Jaguar is reliable and if maintenance and repair costs for a 5 to 7 year old car would be very high? Amy workshop that specialises in Jaguar other than SC?

Audi Q5 Vs Q7

Sifus, would like to check with Audi owners, which one of used Q5 or Q7 (say 2015 or 2016 model with 75k km) would be a better choice as a family car for weekend drives and trips.

If I keep myself mentally prepared that I need to keep say RM 10k or so for repairs for the first two years of usage, will that be good enough? I'm worried about air suspension repair costs as that could well be 20k on its own. So will Q5 or Q7 be the more reliable and cheaper (hard to use this word with Audi) option if I'm willing to spend extra to buy Q7 instead if Q5.

Also, any tips on how to verify the mileage/ prior history for ones being sold by used car dealers. Any workshops in PJ for pre purchase checks?

Hi am considering 2nd hand options for Audi Q5, say 2015 to 2016 model with around 100k km done. Asking price is between 100k and 110k. Can I know what problems or repairs I can expect and what to watch out for before buying.

Installing reverse camera on bmw 3 series

Hi sifus, can you please let me know any recommendations for where to install reverse camera on my bmw 3 series. Its 2017 model which comes with reverse Park assist so am hoping to use the existing screen once I install the camera.

Am sure SC will be much more expensive. Also if I install through 3rs party, will it void the warranty?

Hi all, need your advice and past experience. Would you recommend getting a used C class Mercedes like C180 W205 1.6 model. Have you had prior experience or heard of any issues with the particular model. Considering getting a 3 year old car, so your views will greatly help. Hi All, I am considering buying a used volvo Xc90 or used BMW x5. As both are phev models, can I ask existing owners for feedback on the car performance.

1. Do the batteries become considerably weaker after 3cyears of use.

2. How is the handling of the car given its bulky. Is the nvh decent?

3. Does one need to charge batteries every day to prolong it's life. What happens if one cannot charge for a few days, or only charge occasionally.

4. Any way to check what the current battery condition is before I buy the vehicle because I hear most owners may not really charge it often and just use on petrol.

5. Would you know the cost of battery replacement, heartd it's in excess of RM 45k.

Hi, can I check what are the main things to consider while buying used BMW X1 or X3. Also, is there a service booklet apart from the service history in the iDrive? If I'm considering buying the car from penang or PD, would there be extra body wear and tear to consider due to proximity to the sea? Would appreciate all advice.
