Fibre Modem died... What should I do?

Hi Sifus,

I've been using Unifi's Fibre internet for about 2 years (no longer in a contract), this morning I realise that my modem (Alcatel Lucent I240G) mati-ed (no longer blinking even I switch to different plugs), since I'm using Unifi's 500mbps, I'll still prefer a home network that can support up to 500mbps,

Questions:
Should replace with TM (told that it's RM53 for replacement unit with additional contract), or should I just buy a new modem? If I buy one, what is the best model I can consider?

P/S The only thing I know about broadbands is that I plug and it plays, so treat me nicely ya
