Distorted iPhone 7 Plus Earpiece Speaker

Hi,

my iPhone 7 Plus having audio issues with the top (Earpiece) speaker.
It sounds very cracky / thinny and very distorted like a blown speaker.

Rendering it useless.

I already replace the speaker with original replacement part, but the issue is still there.

- bottom speaker works fine
- microphone works fine as well
- already full restore iOS to eliminate software issue possibilities

Any idea whats the issue?

I heard about iPhone 7 series audio IC issues, but my bottom speaker / mic and playing music through earphones are working as they should.

Is MSU decent enough academic wise for FISE faculty?

The tuition fees are kinda affordable too since it's a half government and half private.
