Industrial Training

Hey all. I'd like to hear about people's experiences during their industrial training before they graduate.

I'm currently doing my training now. I'm feeling really de-motivated because I am not being taught anything or given any work, except making a few calls. I just sit in the office in a corner by myself for 8 hours a day. I'll admit I dunno anything and don't have any talents/skills. (don't even know how to use photostat machine). But I'm willing to learn if ppl are willing to teach.

Pls give me advice on how to improve my situation. If I have some work, at least it'd be easier to pass the time to finish this 3 months training. I'm dying here.

p/s Is it true what we studied in school won't help us at all in our job scope? Or am I just stupid?
