Packet Loss while gaming

Dear forumers,

I recently sent in my laptop for service which required a change to my hard disk drive. I got back my laptop and installed Dota 2 on it again. As I am playing, I randomly get lags and as i check my in game ping, I receive a high ping as well as packet loss. My brother, who is on the same network with me on another laptop does not have any issues as most of his games are smooth. This only narrow my scope down to the fact that there is an issue with my wireless adapter or settings on my computer.

Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks!

Computer Shuts Off when playing game

Hey guys,

I have a huge problem here. I just bought a new laptop (Toshiba Satelite P755). It runs on Core i7 and has a Nvidia GT540M on it. I know one thing is that I have experienced is that when I launch Dota2 or even Starcraft 2, my computer shuts off by itself. I have the drivers all updated, and my Nvidia Optimus is already set to both the software. Yet the same things still happen. Any clue why this is happening??

When will the new expansion be released?

Not sure. We all hope it will be mid 2012. No official announcement has been made. Beta is set to begin in the upcoming months.

How much would the game cost?

No specific price has been give by Blizzard at the moment. Rumours have it that it will be priced at expansion price which is approx. RM120-150

Will I get a new account with the purchase of the game?

Another doubt. We believe that it will be the same account as it is a expansion and not a standalone game.

Anxiety

I always get anxiety when I play. Just donno why. Usually when I get pressured or I know im gonna win, I get this feeling. I've tried telling myself that I should play for fun but it doesnt work.. anyone has any tips? Share it.

By the way, does playing more games reduce the anxiety inside?

Guys, I was wondering, LYN has lots of people selling cases and SP and all sorts. The question I would like to ask is: Is it worth investing 50 bucks on a case and screen protector? Saw a Set from ppl in LYN, but is it really worth that much just for protection?

Hi guys.. I wanted to play this game but I am going to the UK nxt year for studies. The question I would like to ask is that: SEA region games allow you to play in the SEA server and NA server. If I go to UK, will the game work? Will I be able to connect to the NA server?

I just applied for a part time job. They expect to work 9 hours a day but I did not ask them how many days off do I get. Are there certain laws that state how many hours can I work in a day? Is it normal to work 54 hours per week? Just some questions at hand. Thanks for the answers

Hey guys, I'm a person who works out a lot. I'm a frequent basketball player, a rock climber and also works-out at home. Due to my exercise nature, I usually take a can of coke a week and know that I can release all of it out when i exercise. However, recently I've been feeling very hungry and been having this thirsty feeling for years. Could this be signs of diabetes? Are they any other symptoms to diabetes? My paternal grandma has diabetes. My dad doesnt, but he has high blood pressure.
