Anyone had balloon sinuplasty

Has anyone had balloon sinuplasty done? Just wondering if it has solved your issue as I have been recommended to get it done.

I have been diagnosed with severe mucosal thickening in all my sinuses except frontal sinus. I also have both my ostio meatals blocked. From what I understand, balloon sinuplasty cannot reach my ethmoid sinuses. So I am wondering if anyone has had a similar diagnosis or has had balloon sinuplasty and how was it for them.

I am going crazy with guilt, fear and whatever else! I have just been told my 1st sputum test is positive for tuberculosis. I am awaiting the 2nd and 3rd sputum test results. It wont be out till Monday. Meanwhile, I am so scared that I have already infected my husband and my 6 year old child.

Can someone who has had TB or is going through treatment please tell me if their families got infected too? When did their families get tested? I am Malaysian but my husband and child isnt so I am also worried that if they got infected, it will be so expensive for treatment.

How is the treatment? How is life after TB? I hear that even if I survive this infection, it will relapse again in future when I am old and my immunity goes low.

Diagnosed with Tuberculosis

I have just been told that my first sputum test has tested positive for TB. I am waiting for my second sputum test to be done. My chest xray is clear. My blood test is clear too. I have been coughing with phlegm for the past 2 months. It all started as a cold. I am now very scared that I have given it to my husband and 6 year old. If I start treatment, can anyone tell me what it would be? I have read of quarantine and feeling really ill from the strong meds. Would I have to be quarantined? Would I not be able to travel for Christmas (we bought plane tickets to go see my in laws). I never thought this could happen to me. I am just so lost now...

I am just on edge waiting to see my 2nd results and consultation on friday...
