I pretty much love the car just that the sound system is pulling it behind. I tried the older gen Forester that came with Kenwood HU, that stock sound system is nice. But for my XV is like a no brand HU(which on reviewers said that it’s a Panasonic unit). There’s no custom EQ whatsoever and only can adjust bass, mid and treble from -5 to +5. <br /><br />The stock speakers lack of bass and some sound details for me. While I’m doing my online research, western country they all change front 6x9 or front dash tweeter. <br /><br />My requirement is simple. <br />1. Low budget<br />2. No cutting wires and drilling panel<br />3. Retain factory HU and steering media control. <br />4. Better bass and a little more detailed sound. <br /><br />Thank you guys&#33; <br />And stay safe during this Covid pandemic.
