Our visit to Ubud and our experience

My husband and I have recently returned from our little romantic adventure. We have visited Ubud (Bali) and we had a great time. The weather was sunny and we really enjoyed our long walks, people are so friendly and we loved their traditional dance, arts & crafts. Food is delicious, our recommendation is Bebek and Ayam Betutu - I would describe it as chicken or duck stuffed with traditional spices, wrapped in banana leaves, and enveloped in banana trunk bark and baked or buried in a coal fire for few hours. It's juicy and meat is so delicious. Beaches are amazing, and I fall in love with Ubud sunsets. Sooo romantic... <3 And September is great time of the year to visit Ubud, it's less crowdy and still sunny. It was even more fascinating then we have expected since it was our dream for a long time. We have accommodated in this https://balivillaescapes.com.au/?villas=vil...manda-4-bedroom villa. The advantage of it is that it's clean, lovely, homey and you don't need to sleep on the beach. But the beach could be a good idea for somebody more adventurous. We've decided to have room, bathroom and breakfast. Somebody finds it cheap or "best buy" and somebody would say it's expensive. We would again choose this place because it has a soul. The design is relaxing, and that is what we needed. It has good wi-fi, and we certainly will agree that is very important. And they've picked us up at the airport, and it was for free. Breakfast was included (I'm not a morning person so I didn't want to think about breakfast while I'm on my honeymoon). Also, it's near Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. You must see this place, it's fun and there are three old beautiful temples and hundreds of monkeys.
Ubud romantic sunsets, endless beaches we've visited and rice fields helped us remember why at first place we fell in love with each other (we are together 10 years). So, we will forever remember it as a paradise on Earth and I definitely want to recommend it to you all who want to catch the spirit of Bali, remember how much life is beautiful and why love is such an important thing in your life. <3
