So i was chit chatting wit my malay supervisor.
ayam sayin i dont see canned or box drink like drinho or yeos small pack one for cheap sale (like during CNY) at mydin, nsk, and aeon. then my supervisor said because normally they serve visitor in a cup so big pack 1L is cheaper to serve.
Then i think back betul also. 1 season flavored box drink 1L only cost less than rm2 but is 4 times the volume of 250ml small pack.
potentially less wastage and cheaper to serve as well.

does this means for malay, cheap + less wastage > convenience?
or it means for chinese, convenience > all?

Bought an ip7+ 32gb silver for a damn cheap price rm1200.
abit suspicious so i went to cod and confirm is new with apple warranty check and sirim.
brought back home, phone not turning on. so i caj saja la but it keep on boot looping. i just leave it for 2 hrs and i came back still same bootloop and cant turn on.
i asked seller and did some diagnostic but all failed. seller ask to send back and refund but since i got it cheap i wanted the phone badly.
i sendiri send to epal service center at northpoint midvalley yesterday and today i got a shocking email reply from them..
is this normal? one ifag can give comments?

-Update 24/5-
Machine SC called me 2 days ago and apologize for the mistake because the person in charge of my claim thought this was out of warranty (padahal is not activated).
Today they sent an email to me saying the device has been replaced and ready for collection.

ayam very happy because butthurted epal saporkter claim i bought used/recond/stolen unit was proven wrong.
ayam also very happy because rm1200 for ip7+ although my maid back indon dy but at least i can give to nephew or something instead of burning it.
butthurted one that say i bought rm1200 for ip7+ is just butthurt that i got a good deal.
many thanks to the seller for being supportive in assisting me.

It goes like this.

25/03 - I chat with them for the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus 6+128GB and they told me they only have purple. It's okay coz i buying for my friend and she want purple too. Ordered the phone and double confirmed my order as in the chat.
27/03 - Received the phone and as per my typical expensive purchase, i made a video while opening the parcel. first thing that tick me off is the flimsy plastic wrapping which should not be there. Then i found out the seal was broken and they reseal in the plastic to keep it "sealed". but it is okay BUT the biggest problem is i got the unit is 64GB purple instead of the 128GB. i PM them in whatsapp for solution

- They said they delivered wrongly to other people and will exchange for me. due to urgency, i offered to go to their place to exchange. (address will be exposed after lazada investigation)

- i keep telling them do not make mistake this time and i will go exchange with them same day or next day. she ask me to come next day.

28/03 - i reached the seller place and exchange. this time the 128gb is correct BUT was given midnight black instead. i called my friend and she said she wanted purple so i tell seller i cannot accept this because she was supposed to give me 128GB purple. she said nothing she can do and ask me to return via lazada. taken pic of their shop just in case i needed it.

- Did lazada return due to wrong item given, seller reject and ask me to ship back to check item first before approve refund. make sense so i comply

01/04 - due to kena hfmd, im immobilized and quarantined for few days. until this day i ask my brother to help me drop off the return parcel via poslaju by lazada.

03/04 - seller received the item

04/04 - seller rejected the claim due to damage by poslaju and i opened the seal. i make counter dispute to lazada saying it was shipped with opened seal but resealed with plastic which is not supposed to be there for ori sme set. luckily i got cctv video to proof that we double wrap the item with bubble wrap. as far as i concern, the box damage could be self inflicted by seller!

as of now, im waiting for lazada investigation.

but this damn seller is so damn keji and irresponsible. they try to push the blame on buyer despite im the victim here. please avoid like a plague!

Finally lazada approved my refund. as promised, i will reveal all sellers detail.
They are Three T Mobile located inside Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam.
Be very careful when dealing with them, they are sly and dishonest!

Edit 1: Many failed to read properly so i will write here. I DID CHECK FOR BLACKLIST 1 DAY BEFORE THE EVENT. I was told im clear and normal nothing unusual. Even the um staff did another checking during queing and came back clean!

So this morning i woke up early and go to berjaya times square to queue up for umobile (um) plan to get iphone xr for my wife which was supposed to come with free iphone 6s plus 32gb (ip6s+) for top 20 customer.

9.10AM: I counted and im definitely 10000% sure im the top 20 customer who was in queue.
The emcee announce that top 10 will have something special which im not sure what it is but we the after queue 10, before 20 in line will still the free ip6s+
um staff ask for ic from everyone in line to check for blacklist before we can proceed to purchase later at 10am.

10.00AM: the shop opened and the process is taking very slowly about 15-20mins per person.

11.20AM: because the line was so slow, the first 3 waiting in line (me included) was asked to go upstair first floor for registration to hasten the process.
WE WERE PROMISED TO GET THE SAME IP6S+ as buying at downstair ground floor.

11.22AM: counter staff name kugan (if i remember correctly) asked if im going for prepaid or postpaid coz i was just recently blacklisted (between the time they checked my ic and before they can process my application). I told them im going for postpaid so they told me to settle it with digi first. i rasa damn pelik how come got blacklist because all my phone are auto debit so i called digi.

turn out it was due to on sept i mnp a number from digi to yoodo and the digi number was terminated but still got outstanding rm61 for unbilled amount (remember i have to settle outstanding before i can mnp) and this was billed on 1st oct. today is 26th oct and they blacklisted me.

ok lor i told the staff that im going to digi to settle for the blacklisted by paying the bill and they will hold my form first while i setel.
the digi is just opposite um and it was done within 5mins. i return back and they ask me to wait for a while.

12.15PM: Everything process as usual and i asked kugan the counter staff if i will still get my ip6s+ and he said should be because it follow the form. when the supervisor (i assumed) suresh came up, he only brought ipxr wit him.
kugan told him im first 20 customer and suresh go down and check again but to no avail, THEY RELEASED THE PHONE TO QUEUE 21 IN LINE!

Wasted my whole morning, no way im gona settled like that and i argue that
1. i was told the first 20 in line will get an ip6s+
2. i was told the form will be hold first while i settle my blacklist
3. nobody told me anything about losing my queue in line for the ip6s+ (or else i would have settled for prepaid LAH!)
4. when i was brought up from G floor to 1st floor, i was told that we still have the benefit as per our queue in line.
*none of the above 4 argument was answered during the whole ordeal*

apparently the suresh dude dont give a fuck and just say nothing he can do as the phone was released. i was soo fumed i told them to cancel my application and do refund on my cc for the ipxr. i then request suresh to go down with me i wanted to talk to higher up.

12.30PM: I was referred to a dude name Eric and he was very apologetic which is a nice start and he said he will check what he can do for me.
Turn out is all sampah because none of them can do anything so basically just repeat the same thing about me leaving the line to settle my blacklist and thus im not eligible for the ip6s+.
i asked eric if anyone higher in position than him but he said he is the most senior there and nobody else i could refer to.
Keep hearing the same repetitive answer given, i feel is useless to waste my time anymore and i walked out.

They are all not very well trained in SOP because if they told me earlier i would be leaving my line, i would have settled with prepaid. But since they did not told me anything and only to told me i cannot get the ip6s+ after payment and all said and done, im really feeling damn dulan for today's ordeal and i promise i will never touch um in my whole life in future and will keep demote um to all my friends and family however i can!
