Birthmark removal via laser treatment

I wanted to remove a huge birthmark from leg (the size of 1 palm, about 3 shades darker than the normal skin tone). Went to 1 famous derma specialist and was told that need to do pico or yellow laser treatment. the sessions required would be between 4-6 times.

Anybody done this before? can share experience:

1. Method used (laser, cream or surgery)
2. Cost and any hidden cost (that was not told upon sign up)
3. Timeline - how long does it take to recover from each session, and the number of sessions required to completely remove the birthmark
4. Effectiveness - is really remove until you don't notice the birthmark?
5. Any side effects?

Transfer school

Hi.

I would like to transfer my daughter (currently in Junior 3 or form 3) from Chinese Independent School to SMK.

She has been doing average in UEC and at the same time also taking the gov syllabus. We decided to transfer her to SMK because no interest in taking senior UEC and plan to go to college after SPM.

My preferred school is A where it's considered nearest to my house and its walkable. However, this school is considered "elite" and they tend to be selective in the admission.

May I know what are the documents required for the transfer and what additional documents can increase the success rate of the transfer to school A.

Mobile Data Plan for Parent

Hi.

I'm looking into subscribing data plan for my parent.

At the moment they already have unifi at home.

Being old and tech illiterate, I plan to get unlimited package to avoid any disruption in case they overuse data/calls. As you know it's tough trying to troubleshoot their phone problem via the phone

So any suggestion on cheapest and least hassle service provider?

Low water pressure

Dear Sifus,

Recently completed reno on my double storey house. Prior to reno, i didn't notice much problem with the water pressure (from tank) although it's not that great. Water supply to Bathrooms (upstairs) are quite decent and i have water heater with pump. I also do not have problem with water pressure direct from main.

After reno, the problem seems to worsen especially for my kitchen sink because the water source is from tank instead of direct. How can i solve this problem without doing any hacking or laying new piping.

My contractor suggested to do "modification on the piping" to solve this problem as this is the cheapest method. Alternatively to install pump which cost more.

So, i want to ask, anybody done this "pipe modification" and what actually is being done? and rough estimate for this modification?

I am considering pump as my last option being that it cost more and requires future maintenance.

I'm looking to install smoke detector in my hse (1 unit in living hall downstairs, 1 at at family hall upstairs). Do I need to install 1 in kitchen? . What are the criteria to look for? Any good brand/model recommendation? My budget is between RM100-150.

Appreciate reply from those already install and have experience with smoke detector.

school holiday coming soon. I'll soon have teenagers at home makan, tidur, playgame whole day. To avoid such scenario, am planning to sign them up to useful or fun activities. If possible something that can give them insight of what they want to do in the future.
