Maguro/Shake sushi at Jusco

Hi all,

This thing has been bothering me for some time. Hope anybody out there can share their experience, especially those who regular sushi at Jusco. See, for a long time I've been trying to "get" sashimi/raw sushi, but didn't "get" it after a few tries. It was always too fishy to enjoy. However, one day I got lucky at Jusco. I was the most "unfishy" shake sushi I tried, and I loved it. It clicked. I'm not sure if it was super fresh (impossible in Malaysia, right?) but it was fresh enough that I got it. But then, that was the only time. I never got anything as fresh again, and this was a few years ago. I always go for the gold sticker, but never got the same freshness ever again. I believe it has something to do with their shipment of frozen fish from Japan. Anybody can figure this out? Any ideas?
