Can I go earlier to C-19 vaccine appointment?

Hi!

Does anyone know how early we're allowed to be for the vaccine? If the appointment is at 4pm, is it ok to go in the morning? I tried calling (no pickup or line busy) and asked via MySej (no response) but til now I can't find. I dunno if they'll halau or not if I suddenly appear so early.

Any advice? Thank you!!

Recommendations for wireless headphones

Hi,

Could anyone recommend a good set of wireless headphones (can consider true wireless earbuds) that got super loud bass? Noise cancelling is a bonus but not a necessity. Other factors like battery life and how it looks are less important. Budget ideally under RM1k or slightly over.

I Google until eyeballs want to punch me and still don't know. If I type "with bass," no.1 come up is the Sony EXTRA BASS range. Reviews only so-so. Got so many big brands I also don't know which to choose. I don't want to spend the money then if jialat I'm stuck with them. Cheap ones also plenty listed but at the price, I also don't know whether to believe or not.

Anyone with experience or recommendations?

THANK YOOO!

Hanabishi rice cooker any good?

Tbh this is the first time I ever heard of this brand. I only know the usual names like Panasonic and Electrolux and imported ones like Hitachi. This Hanabishi sounds not bad, I want to get a 1.0L stainless steel and this one uses 18/10 plus has a steamer.

Anyone ever try this brand before? Any good? Can tahan? Easy to wash? Got rust? Rice cook okay?

Any rice cooker <1L + stainless steel inner pot?

Hi I'm looking for a good mini rice cooker that's less than 1L capacity (ideally 3 cups or 0.54L) with stainless steel inner pot. Doesn't have to be MICOM or anything fancy. As long as small and is stainless steel (or anything with safer inner pot material).

I been looking and trying to find online but so far everything is 1L and above or the super expensive premium travel size type that costs several k's.

Anyone know of anything that fits this criteria? I'm getting it for someone. I'm open to any brand as long as it is durable.

Thank you!

Gao Ren frozen food

I was looking at the (non-halal) frozen food section of Jaya Grocer and saw these things in the freezer.

They look very good and I tried to Google to see reviews but kept getting results for some restaurant called Gao Ren Guan. Not sure if the restaurant is the same business as this. Anyone tried before? Are they any good or just waste of money?

Weight gain from excess carbs vs fats vs protein

Hi,

This is my first ever post so I apologise if I say anything wrong, but I was wondering what is the difference if you gain weight based on eating mainly carbs, compared to eating mainly fat or mainly protein.

What I mean is that, for example:

- If I mainly eat carbs, will that contribute to belly fat, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver etc

- If I mainly eat fats, can that clog arteries and increase cholesterol?

- If I mainly eat protein, could that cause kidney and liver problems from too much of protein?

- If I eat mainly one of those three above, will I look worse? (Sorry I know that's a dumb and vain question, but what I'm trying to say is will one macro make me gain weight in an 'ugly' fashion??)

And before anyone goes answers why don't I just eat more of each macro, I am not saying that only one macro will be eaten. I just mean if one was eaten more than the others.

Also, please don't give tips on how to avoid gaining overall body fat. For someone who is medically underweight, fat is necessary and some people truly need to increase body fat in order to be healthy, not just muscle. I was hoping there was a way to gain weight healthfully with minimal bloating and digestive discomfort. Hopefully, this is possible.

In the past, I have gained weight on lots of processed foods like chocolate bars and "keropok" but that made my face and tummy balloon up. Now currently I'm trying to eat more calorie dense foods as I tend to get full very quickly. I'm eating a lot of nuts because I genuinely love them, but they are very difficult for me to digest and it hurts my gut and gives me diarrhea/constipation. I also like avocado, but it is too expensive to eat regularly. I've tried adding oil to my foods but that makes me slightly "jelak", plus gives me diarrhea. I'm lactose intolerant so I cannot take much milk, so I just take full fat yogurt. But that too causes a lot of bloating and pain. Lactose-free milk is hard to find, and also quite expensive. I also love salmon, but AGAIN - expensive!

I don't want to gain weight just eating a bucketful of fried foods not just because of the health, but because my body feels lousy afterwards.

Anyone got any tips on what I can do? That's the reason why I asked the question, because if I knew which macro to focus on, I don't have to keep looking for so many types of food. I can just add more of one kind and not have to bother thinking about it anymore.

Sorry this is so long.

Thanks so much guys!
