How to unlock ipad if forgot password

Hello guys,

I have an ipad (old one, probably 3rd generation or something -- bought in 2012)

i never use the ipad for nearly 3 years now and suddenly i remember i have 1 file inside that ipad that i need, so i charged it and.... after 3 years of never unlocking it, i completely forgotten the password.

what's the best way to get around this? should i visit the apple store or support?

PS. there's no iCloud link to it, so nothing in the cloud.

Bring laptop box passing airport security

hi guys,

I just recently bought a macbook -- opened and used for about a month now, and now i need to migrate to Singapore for good. Can i bring my opened macbook box along with me? will the malaysian/singapore TSA question me on the item?

I'm not malaysian as well, so i don't have option to put the box in my malaysian place as i don't have one . please advise

Landlord refuse to pay back security deposit

Hi All,

Currently i have issue with my landlord, he refused to pay back my 1 month deposit after i move out.

Here's the case:
I rent a room under 12 months contract (Jan til Dec), I've been paying all the rental on time. However, on November, i need to move out. So I asked him to deduct from my 2-month deposit to pay for December rental, which means he still owe me 1 month deposit right?

After done so, i believe i do not breach any contract because i still pay for the entire duration of my stay. he suddenly told me that i've breached the contract because I move out earlier than contract.

So my question, do i breach any contract? I move out 1 month earlier than contract but i still fulfill my responsbility to pay my rental, should I file police report? (if i do so, do i need to pay money to police? i'm foreign student so i've no idea about this, sorry)
