Nexus 5X still can claim bootloop issue?

Hi everyone,
I'm about to purchase a Nexus 5x (just waiting for buyer to come for my Nokia 2). I heard this device is famous for bootlooping, so I'd like to ask if I face this issue, can I go to LG service center and have them fix it under 'warranty'? And if not, what other 250rm ish phone I can buy with USB-C?
