Hi,

Lately I have been facing issues where if I stream, my net will completely cut off from 5-10 seconds before reconnecting.

I have done an event log for friends to look through and they said everything looked fine.

I have also done a ping test (cmd ping xxx) and confirms I have a stable connection and don't experience packet drops.

I also replaced my ethernet cable in the process of eliminating potential problems that lead to this.

I also swapped ports on the router to test if that particular port is faulty but the same problem persists.

As far as I know, the game I'm streaming, Final Fantasy XIV, does not consume high bandwidth at all and I have streamed for 3-4 hours straight before with no problem on a 10 mbps package (2 routers ago).

The problem started for a couple of months ago and I have not found a solution to my problems since the new routers came into the picture.

So my question is if it is possible that Maxis placed a soft cap of booting high bandwidth users (unlikely)?

Any advice/help is appreciated.
