We carry all sorts of authors, all sorts of titles, fiction and non fiction. Let us know which book you want, we will check for stocks and if our supplier has it, it's yours!

Left pinky remained bent/curve after fracture

Hi guys.

I need some advice/help here.

Tried googling for answers in LYN but to no avail.

I fractured my left pinky end of last year after sport activities. Didn't know it was a fracture, just that my pinky swell twice the size. The doctor (clinic) who treated me said it was just mere swelling, would subside 2 weeks later and gave me some medicine. 2 weeks later it was still swelling like mad, so I went to another doctor (general hospital) and got my pinky X-Rayed. So it was confirmed to be a fracture and the attendant wrapped my pinky to a splinter and the whole hand was bandaged.

2 months later, another X-Ray was taken, and fracture has completely healed. Took longer to heal as the fracture wasn't noticed or treated when it occured. So after the splinter was taken off, my pinky was of course numb and I found it hard to bend. (Imagine being straight due to the splinter and had to be wrapped for quite some time). The doctor examined and found everything was alright. He said I just need to try to move my pinky and in no time, my pinky would be able to bend and return to its original state.

But now, after so long, my pinky is crooked. It cannot be straighten anymore like my other fingers. It hurts when I accidentally press on it (to make it straight) and when I bend it it cannot close properly like my other fingers. I want to see Chinese Masseur and he said that the muscle around that area it tight, will need constant massage to loosen the muscle.

Any advice? It has been bothering me (though I can do a lot of things) but I can't really do certain things like play the guitar etc.

I know there's no direct lrt there. So can please tell me the nearest station then what to do next? Thanx alot people!!

WTA - Big thighs

Sorry for being a noobie in this forum. But I have something to ask from the more experienced people here.

I'm just 5feet. Can be considered as petite. I have so called 'pear' bodyframe. Tend to store more fat below waist. Now my waist considered ok already. The problem is my thighs.

I've been doing aerobics (1hour), threadmill and cycling for 1 hour (both combined) for at least thrice a week. I weigh at 46kg. Yes. I know the weight is ok. But I just need to slim down my thighs. And it'll be perfect.

Any tips on how to reduce it? It's about 20 inches per side for my body frame! So it makes my body kind of uneven.

Please help me.

All advice appreciated.

p/s : I have been doing those programs at a gym for about one month already. But still I can't really see any effect on my thighs. I know I need to be patient, but my uni is starting real soon. No more time for gym. Cause have to go back 'ulu' place.

p/p/s : Just dropped another kg. Now at 45kg. Thighs look like they became more toned already. Shrinked a little. I want it to be toner.
