Proximity / Access Card

greetings all

am about to move into a gated guarded community. been provided the access card, the gate remote etc. however most of the resident been having this problem with the access card being terribly hard to detect, sometimes to the extent of having to roll down the window and and wave it like crazy then only can detect which is troublesome. can't imagine having to open the window when it rains. is there any possible solution out there? heard there are several types of these sensors, some even which you can just leave the card or chip in the dash board and the sensor can detect no problem. hope there are solutions that i can then extend to the developer

4Gb ram only detected as 2Gb

Hi guys,

hope somebody could sort tis problem out for me as i'm lost in finding out the solution for the problem i'm facing..did some googling but to no avail..

My System
Intel C2D E6550
Kingston 667 1Gb x2
Gigabyte P31-DS3L
NVidia Fatal1ty 8800GTS 320mb
WD 80Gb Ide
WD 500Gb SATA
CM Extremepower 430W

d prob i'm facing now is both my bios n xp dun detect my newly bought munchkin 667 1Gb x2..read somewhere d ram is somehow limited to 3.xx due to reserved memory for windows (correct me if i'm wrong )..but d thing is now my ram only showed a total of 2Gb..tried installing only a single mushkin ram aside my kingstons but d result is still d same..anybody cares to guide me?thanx in advance
