Supplement scams?

I've no experience with supplements.

My mother recently developed progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and has been taking the pills in the link above.

They cost a pretty penny (MYR 700 for 3 bottles) and she pays it. The person who first sold it to her (and one other close family friend) is another friend they met through their religious meetings (Church).

I recently found out about this and looked into it, but could not find info, but that may be due to my inexperience with these things, so have decided to ask around for various things.

Turns out this supplement has... different effects to different people? My mother with PSP said it cures her leg aches/pains... if she takes 6 pills at once every morning. (prescription says to take 2 a day, morning and afternoon)

For the family friend mentioned... it reduces strain on her knees and gives her more energy.

Also found out, from the family friend, who still believes it works and has seen info on it but cannot quote me the source off the top of her head, that their mutual church friend who sold/recommended it to them is also a member of the company producing/selling these pills...

These all add up to quite a lot of red flags for me, any thoughts?

I'm looking for a mobile computer for work (and occasional gaming) uses.
Programs needed to run are Photoshop CC (or older versions) and Premiere Pro (light editing).

I've gotten a list of options so far, but I'm curious to know if anyone's got good alternatives. (or feedback on the current options listed)
Especially curious about Illegear since it seems to be local(?) and it's not as easy to find reviews on.

Preferred weight is below 2kg, but not absolutely necessary, though having it be lighter helps a lot.
The screen needs to have fairly good colour for digital art purposes. (not sure if this is standard across or I need to specify, specifying just in case)
Budget is flexible, but assume 2k-5k.

Alternatively, I'm more curious about what specs I should be looking for, rather than a specific model.
What range of CPU, graphics card, screen specs should I be trying to find? (in the event I end up buying something else, it would help to know the range of optimal specs)
