Just a quickie -

I know we can print out our tickets after buying online thru gsc website.

Instead of printing out to paper, Has anyone tried saving the QR code image to phone and scanning phone at the entrance gate? Does it work?

Sure, i can use gsc android app but i prefer not to conduct transactions over mobile apps. (yes, paranoid a bit)

I just got myself a Asus DSL N12U C1 modem/router/wifi for my streamyx

I notice thru Traffic Monitor page I can see total bandwidth currently in use, but how do i find which station is using the most bandwidth?

Today I just made a call lasting bout 9 mins...after the call I get usual toast notification

why is the charge showing as RM0.24,RM1.84

I am currently on Streamyx ADSL 1Mbps.

Rceently a telemarketer from TM called me, and asked if wanna upgrade to 2 or 4 Mbps Streamyx. According to her , my area has already been upgraded from copper cable to "IPTV Cable" (for 2 & 4Mbps).

never heard of iptv cable for broadband, i was left scratching my head and asked her did she mean fibre cable, she said no, "IPTV cable" lol

usually GSC only allow advance ticket purchases 3-days before screening starts. But i was told sometimes for big movies(blockbusters) can buy up to a week in advance. Is this true?

RCCB/ELCB 100mA still nuisance trip!

Hi folks,

My family and I are living in a terrace house.
Recently my dad changed our 25-yr old voltage-based ELCB to a newer current-based RCCB (Wylex 2Pole 40A with 100mA sensitivity)

After that it start nuisance tripping a lot during storms, even if the lightning is far away.
When no storm, everything is OK.

I was surprised even 100mA also trips a lot, if 30mA of course I can understand the tripping.

Any RCCB users here on 100mA sensitivity? Do yours trip frequently during storms? If yes, what did you do to mitigate the annoyance?

Did some research on yagi antennas and noticed they look like my TV antenna(the VHF/UHF one)

Hey, OpenDNS opened a new node in SG last year.
But using streamyx, I observed for some time now, the route goes to HK first and then back down to SG wtf?

Just got Samsung E2020X 20" LCD, it's decent stuff for the price.

Only one annoyance, the blue power LED at the bottom right corner is annoying especially at night
how do i turn it off? In OSD menu, can't find any option lah
