Hi guys,

My company is using a HP Laserjet 3055 All-In-One Printer. It's basically connected to the network that has some 30 PCs and a Windows 2003 server. I've installed it to the network and it's able to print. But, i can't seem to use the scan button on the printer panel.

However, i can scan it thru the end-users PC using a scanning utility software provided by HP.

Why is this happening? Anyone experience this b4?

Whenever i open IE, I can't seem to surf the Internet. But when i open up MSN or Skype, i'm able to chat up wif my frens online.

BTW, i'm using streamyx modem and a switch to connect to 2 PCs. This happens to one of my PCs. The other one is ok. Both PCs are using fixed IP address for a speedier boot-up time.

So, pls correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm planning to buy a new TV for my home. I'm confuse between LCD TV and Plasma TV.
HP All-in-One LaserJet 3055

There's a HP All-in-One LaserJet 3055 in my office and it's connected to the network using a network cable. There is this button on the printer panel where the users can scan to any of their PCs just by selecting the path display on the printer display. So, i can actually set a path on each PC whenever the user press the "Scan To" button. The problem is that whenever i login as Administrator, the user is able to scan to that PC with administrator login. But when i login using one of the user's ID, the scanner doesn't seem to connect to that PC with normal user login.

What should i do next?

Hard Disk Problem

Hi all,

I have a problem with my hard disk. One fine day, after i put in a new SDRAM into my PC, it work fine. After i restart, my PC just keeps restarting everytime it shows the Windows bootup screen. So, i troubleshoot it myself and i thought it was the power supply. So, i changed the power supply, and it got worse. It displays a msg "Disk Boot Failure...." or something like that. I've tried using another IDE cable and making sure that the jumpers are set correctly. But then, it still didn't work. I'm really afraid that my hard disk really 'kong'.

What should i do?
I'm working as a programmer n my company is using this s/w called PrintSoft PReS.

It's more like a printer programming language, specifically used to develop a program for personalizing documents n creating a spool file for printing. In a way, it's also a 'personalize document software' for data n document processing.

Anyone know or use this kind of s/w b4?

I have a weird problem here. I'm using VB6 to connect to an Access database file. Whenever i try to connect my VB6 project to an Access 2002 database file, it can't recognized it. But when i connect it to an Access 97 database file, it works without any problems.

Any reason about this?
