Hi, I wonder if i get a intel core i5 2500k + e.g. 5450, will the gaming performance act like hybric cross fire ( sandy bridge GMA 3000 + 5450 run together)? or it only let you choose either using 5450 or the sandy bridge gpu ?

hmm...forgot to edit after i re-check those cable again. Now it can work normal. However, it only work under 6 channel direct. otherwise, there will have problem on other mode.. (no sound coming out)
is this normal?

Besides that, is the movie file must have 5.1 surround option then I only can enjoy the 5.1 surround sound? or there is any software I can use to make it become 5.1 surround?

I am using the normal cable (black, green and orange) which come with the z-5500. I'm using asus xonar d2x sound card

there is actually sound coming out from speaker..just the voice is too small.. unless i max out the volumn or won't be able to hear it.
perhaps it's the sound card problem..

cpu temperature > 100c (problem solved)

Hello, hope anyone can help me out..

the cpu temperature goes more than 100c and auto shutdown recently (not even reach the windows already auto shutdown).
but when take to the shop for checking, switch on for few minutes also dun have problem, the cpu temp steadily stay at below 50c
after checking, no problem, then when switch on at home, the cpu temp goes more than 100c again, within 2 mins

already changed the hsf, ram, hdd...

is it possible cpu? mobo? or even psu problem?

Anyone tried this before?
I bought the master cooler notepal infinite notebook cooler though online in earlier time.. but when it arrive, i just notice that the air doesn't come out at the top middle part, and my laptop exause..is just ngam ngam at the top middle part.. and the cooling pad cost me 18 pound..doh

after i use the notepal infinite..seem it's doesn't help at all..the temp seem still same as b4..

so..i would like to ask your oppinion on these product b4 i decide to buy it..

erm..i just curious that..whether the cpu or gpu can be overclocked in laptop..just like how we oc in desktop? cos i'm using asus f5sl and it come with ati mobility 3470. I just can't find the overclock option in the ati mobility driver..

hello.. i accidentally click on minimal(xxxxx) for the safeboot option, and now when i start the window only the window with cmd.exe come out.. which need to type command but i have no idea how to use.. and can't config it to normal start up..

it keep black screen with the word "safeboot" on every corner after i type exit... everytime i enter window also come in that mode.

anyone know how to fix this? thank you very much...

warranty issue (erm..result of lightning striked)

as we know that if our mobo striked by lightning, the warranty will be void and have to pay $$ for repairing. even last time i went to the shop, the technician there told me any damage on the mobo will already void the mobo warranty. the fact is..the LAN of the mobo blew and cracked. so, i will need to make payment if need to send rma and finally i decided to ask them to let me know how much it cost b4 repair.

however, i just received call from the shop said my item is ready to be collected..and no charges. hmm..am i consider lucky or they had somewhat change the policy? anyway haven't go take my mobo yet.. will go on monday..

I not sure whether here is the right place to ask or not.. well, i just doubt that, if i'm from miri (sarawak), and i buy my pc part from lowyat and later "IF" any problem occure to the hardware, I have to take it back to lowyat and ask RMA from that shop or I can simply ask anyshop or someone to RMA it in miri?

Hello, is colorful 7600gt good or not?
i see the price is much cheaper as compare to other brand's 7600gt.
colorful 7600gt cost abt RM330, others like aus RM560, even asus 7600gs also cost RM480.. seem the price differ so much..?(msi 7600gt RM490)

i heard that only ultimate is running 64-bit..is it? (anyway it can be upgraded to 64-bit through ms..) i would like to know whats the different between windows xp and vista-32bit? i mean the limitation of the os is still the same, since it is still base on 32-bit..isn't it? i just bought a new comp and still considering to go for window xp or window vista.. i just saw that the price for winfast 8800 gts 640mb version is quite low compare to others brand.. which only cost around RM1500-1600 while others is like RM 1800-2000 ... does this mean the winfast 640mb version is not that good or ... ? bcos if the price is only abt RM400 differen i will probably buy 640mb version instead of 320mb.. since the ram is double up...
