http://forum.lowyat.net/ Wed, 30 Sep 2026 08:29:36 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5091691 So just got TIME installed at the new house and got the Huawei EG8145V5, so it is all in one ONT, modem, router, switch and WAP.<br />Installed didn&#39;t want to use my old standalone Huawei HG8240H ONT unit, which would have been perfect for my situation.<br /><br />I have all Ubiquity gear, USG, 8 Port POE Switch, 1x AC PRO APs, 3x In Wall Pro APs with a controller running in Azure.<br /><br />The issue with the EG8145V5, the UI has been modified to not allow putting the unit into bridged mode thus I can use my Ubiquity USG without double NATing which I&#39;d like to avoid.<br /><br />Anyone have experience forcing the TIME supplied EG8145V5 into bridge mode?<br /><br />Alternatively, is it possible to use your own ONT? Thinking of picking up a Ubiquity UFiber loco.<br />Any idea if TIME restrict MAC address of ONT or anything like that?
