brake pedal vibrate during high speed bumpy road

My brake pedal will vibrate (felt it when my foot rest on the pedal & not pressing it) during high speed like 100km/h on bumpy road... there is no vibration on smooth and even road after brake disc skimming. Is it possibly due to bad front suspension system?

Recond vs china made steering rack

Recently my mazda steering racks needed to be changed bcos of clunking noise when turning the steering.

I was quoted recond one $950. While i found out china made one in shopee cost $400 only and the mechanic doesn't mind i bring my own steering rack.

Is it more sensible to use the china made one? Is it more reliable than recond one since recond one is usually the used one?

hard brake to the floor and slide

Hi,

I'm driving 2012 mazda 2. Sometimes, when I suddenly hard brake it during speed like 70km/h and above, the brake pedal will be pushed to the floor and the car still sliding forward a few inches before stopping.

Anyone experienced it? What is the cause of it?

Is it due to Abs system triggerred?

repaint bumper with third party insurance claim

recently my bumper got hit from the car behind. I got the police report and went to a panel workshop by the insurance company. The guy told me the white color painted will be different from mine. Is it acceptable? Can I ask them to paint the original white color? I think each car color got its own code. Btw, my car is a 8 year old car. Any advice? Thanks.

hard acceleration gasoline smell

when I am doing hard acceleration (high revs), I can smell gasoline thru the aircon vent.

Headlight cover replacement overnight

Hi,

I bought a used car and the dealership offered me free headlight cover replacement but I have to leave my car overnight for them to do the replacement.

Is it normal? I thought headlight cover replacement is quite fast... I'm not sure why they need to do it overnight...

Any ideas?

May I know How to check ownership history on a used car? For example, how many ex-owners for a particular used car?

Whenever there was a car ownership transfer, the Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC) will only show the new owner info, right?
