Which thermal paste to use

My friend has a ROG Strix SCAR II and he doesn't dare to repaste himself. So he asked me to do it for him. I m torn between the Kryonaut and MasterGel Maker... I have tested the former but it seems to dry out within 6 months on my Lenovo Y50. But the latter I have not tried. Would the Kryonaut perform any differently in the SCAR II? Because my desktop with Kryonaut still performing great

How are the Zephyrus S thermals?

I am really digging the smaller form factor of the Zephyrus S, but how does it perform in terms of thermals? Is it as good as the Zephyrus, at least?

Is the ASUS TUF FX504 still a good buy now?

I know there is the ASUS TUF FX505 out now, but recently the ASUS TUF FX504 had a price slash. Is it a good buy at the moment, or should I pony up the extra cash for the FX505? The slim bezels don't really matter, because I am getting it for my sister and she doesn't carry her laptop around much.

ZenBook Pro 15 cooling

How hot does the ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 run? Especially the Core i9 variant... Because much thicker laptops seem to have trouble handling the latest 8th Gen Intel CPUs... Not sure this thin laptop can handle or not...

Ever wondered what CPU cache offers?

So I saw there is Core i9 and Core i7 variant of the ZenBook Pro 15... After researching a bit, this is what I came up with...

Aside from clock speed difference, the Core i9 8950HK and Core i7 8750H processors which are available for the ZenBook Pro 15 have different amounts of cache. So what does more cache do? Cache allows the CPU to keep data much closer to the CPU, with much faster bandwidth, reducing the need to move data to the RAM. While DDR4 RAM is fast, it is still a lot slower than CPU cache. Which is why for those who want the most performance, they should get the Core i9 variant with 12MB cache, allowing the processor to be that much quicker when handling large amounts of data, and also enjoying the faster clocks.

I hope sifu here please provide some input whether this is accurate, and how does it affect our daily usage?

Gigabit WiFi

The ZenBook Pro 15 I have only can achieve 867 Mbps despite being connected to the ASUS RT-AC5300 router. How to achieve the gigabit speeds ASUS claimed? Do I need a new router?

While I am enjoying my ASUS ZenBook Pro, I can't help but think that ASUS had an excess of 5.5" screens from the ZenFone 3 generation. Seems like the same tech too, SuperIPS and what not
