[WTA] To buy now or Hold off first?

I’m in a dilemma, to buy now or hold off first?

Seeing now how the price of RAM has hiked up, which is the same for SSD too & GPU soon.
Is it a better move to buy now? Instead of waiting longer for the uncertain price situation.

Initially, I was planning to buy my new PC at the end of Q1 2026, replacing my 15-year-old rig (at my sign), which was recommended by the Otai-Otai here.
I still see some familiar Otai that are still active, i.e., TristanX & kingkingyyk from back then.

Currently, my PC is facing these 3 problems below;

Certain Youtube videos in 1080p 60FPS or higher, it will be buffering. CPU usage is running at 99-100%.
Have to manually press F1 / F2 to enter Windows at each start-up. The mainboard CMOS cannot recharge the 3V battery. Had it replaced with multiple batteries.
Cannot upgrade to Windows 11, which means no security updates on Windows 10 after October 2026.

Seeing I’ve been absent in the PC hardware community, I would like to seek advice from the members here.

Should I go with the purchase this month, and if so, what’s the recommended specs that can last me for another 10-year-plus period?
Good enough for max 1080p or solid 1440p gaming, while most of them are for general computing usage & watching/streaming >1440p video.

Budget-wise, let’s say about ~RM6-7k? Previously, my rig was bought at RM2k.
Crazy seeing the current price differences now.

Graphic Card's FAN

Sup Guys~

Just yesterday my graphic card's fan died on me. Out of sudden, a loud and irritating noise came out.
I do occasionally clean my PC from dust, so it's darn clean. Guess the fan bearing had worn out. Turning 2 years next month.
Right now I've to manually set the fan speed to 32%, higher than that, Mr.NoisyNoise will come find me.
Temperature now at 60'C, Gaming at 82'C (Highest)

I look it up and found by lub the bearing with WD40 will helps but "how do I apply it?"
I can't see the bearing when it's being covered up and I can't seem to open it up. or randomly spray into it

Any advice?

IF comes to worst and have to change the fan, any fan that fits in will do?

Guys, I was watching a movie on C drive. After some random time, say 20-25mins, the movie stop and my HDD LED sign turns red.
The sound of it is like the HDD is starting up and a soft "tick", back to normal. It's like the HDD is waking up from idling.

My C drive is dl-ing on the background and watching movie, shouldn't that keep the HDD from being idle?
Happen to my storage drive too.

Is there a way to avoid this? settings? or is normal?
