Stop paying tax. No plans to buy a house or car

Hi, i used to have taxable income, but I lost my job with no savings, no car, no credit card, I'm living with my parents. I have no plans to buy house or car not only now but forever. So, if i stop declaring my income or paying tax. Will the Inland Revenue Board comes after me?

Newspaper deliveryman

I just went for an interview for a local newspaper delivery service.

The manager said that I will be paid based on commission or number of the newspaper that I delivered

Each newspaper cost RM5 paid by the customer

Delivery time is 3-7am

Does anyone know how much do they pay for each delivered newspaper as commission?

To season a pan, simply rinse and dry the pan using water. Then put a dollop of oil (any type) in the pan and coat the entire surface using a paper towel.

Coat the pan with butter or oil prior to heating. You should always add some lubricant to your pan prior to heating, even when using nonstick pans. KOTA KINABALU: State health authorities have suspended the return of Sabah students from Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak because quarantine centres in Sabah are filling up.

The federal higher education ministry has cancelled all flights for students returning to Sabah at the request of the Sabah Health Department.

State education minister Yusof Yacob said the flights would be rescheduled depending on the situation at the quarantine centres.

Malaysia Airports Bhd general manager Sunip Naiman confirmed that all the chartered flights had been cancelled.

The health authorities stopped allowing returning students to be quarantined at home after a spike of 10 new Covid-19 cases were reported earlier this week.

Students queuing for flights back to their respective hometowns.
However, the government quarantine centres would not be able to cope with the large number of students and others returning to Sabah. “The state government was also looking at ways to avoid placing students in an uncomfortable situation inside the centres,” said Yusof.

The higher education ministry is responsible for coordinating the students’ return and also manages all the chartered flights for the returning students.

There are 11,653 students from Sabah in Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak. Some have returned since the federal government relaxed travel restrictions on April 27.

There are over 24 quarantine centres across Sabah.

PETALING JAYA: Motorists with outstanding traffic summonses will get discounts of up to 50% on their penalties when they pay them online from May 18.

For four days until May 21, motorists can enjoy the discount when they pay their summonses online via www.myeg.com.my and www.rilek.com.my.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department director Deputy Comm Datuk Azisman Alias hoped that the discount would come as a relief to motorists are burdened by challenging times.

"We understand some may be facing difficulties during the movement control order (MCO) while others may be preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri," he said.

DCP Azisman also said traffic service counters at district police headquarters nationwide would start reopening in stages beginning May 18 to facilitate summons payments as well as insurance documentation for road accidents.

The counters are expected to be open from 9am to 2pm every Monday and Wednesday in Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.

On Fridays, the counters will be open from 9am to noon.

Meanwhile, in Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu, counters will be open every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm.

DCP Azisman also advised motorists to be mindful of standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the conditional MCO when dealing at the counters.
