Personally favouring ~'08 Honda City more for its appearance but Toyota Vios I heard is more reliable with no CVT issues. Is it true that if I buy after 1/1/2015 the price will take a plunge? How long does it take for price change to take place? Any Honda sifus with some advice about this?

What am I missing?

I need this as a reference only because the rig will be built in the UK, budget is around £800. I set it to RM3.5k because UK hardware more expensive.

Will finally get them on http://www.ebuyer.com or http://www.scan.co.uk. Will build one according to your list then compare the price.

MacBook Unibody White 13" LCD Problem

Screen slowly turns to white occasionally. Temp fix: move the lid.

How much would it be to change the LCD pane? I haven't gotten any official feedback on this yet, see what LYN has to say about it first.

I have, however, searched online and found that it's the LCD pane's problem.

Can I still sell it for any value if fixing is too expensive?

In accordance to the gaming spirit of this year's Gamefest 3, we will be holding a LAN party to let gamers come together and cyber-mingle. Be it a show of skills or just to display your superior rig, do join us at this exciting LAN party!

[WTA] Car Servicing/Warranty Questions

Details on my car:

Proton Saga 1.3M 2007 model (Iswara)
Purchased back in 2007/8.

Problems currently:

>Top front right corner of chassis/body leaks when raining heavily,
>right side headlight gone case (only got small light),
>air conditioner leg part always open (the toggle rosak, freezes my feet all the time),
>brake pedal squeaky (minor problem but annoying),
>wiper (need to replace, this one melted lol),
etc..

Here are some questions I have on the top of my head right now, some questions might seem nooby:

1. They (Proton) claim to have a 5-year warranty right? What does it cover? Kena accident before cannot claim?
2. What's your recommendation for a new wiper? Price?
3. Best place around PJ area for car servicing? (What's your price on a usual service? Oil, alignment etc.)
4. Usual price to repair that headlight?

Clueless on what to do, laptop just got stolen.

Happened in Section 17, believed to be around 4/5am. Climbed in my backyard and opened my window, stealing the laptop that's on the table. (which is next to the window) Got the nyamuk net la, the thief pried it open.

Hmmmm... What I wanna know is what should I do now? It's a HP Pavillion dv6 series lappie. Costed around 5k when I bought it just few months back. I'm making a police report. I called HP Customer Care but they said they can't blacklist it, they can't block it, they can't do shit about it. Not even cancelling the warranty, or taking the serial number. How can I blacklist it at least? So when other people buy stolen goods they'll know?

And on tracking my laptop, I saw a thread here in LYN that I can install PREY on my next laptop.

So what's your opinion, or what would you do, if you just got your laptop stolen? (please don't say cry or grief, that 1 i also know la)
