Those guys came today and only replace the router? My exisitng modem is really old (the small orange one) and the phone after using a while has no battery. I wanted a new set but how come everything is being 'recycled' except the router?? Its suppose to be a new sign up with maxis. I understand if they wanted to resue the wires (they even wanted to charge me when i wanted to change my modem n router to new place) -.-" i find seriously disappointing. I want a new modem and phone -.-

I posted this topic in real world issue, must be wrong topic because no respond, so hope I'm at the right place now.

Recently there is this article regarding security and body guarding in The Star Online.
I have interest into security but not sure where to start, so this article caught my attention
I think most of you guys aren't aware of this news.

It looked like they are going to start up some high class security education by collaborating with these people from the UK. I have a huge interest into security but not sure if its good or bad, so I kinda google around regarding both Chico Force and Regalis

From the site, it looks like we are dealing with some CIA, FBI or James Bond (lol I don't know how to describe the awesomeness from the website). Plenty of service. It seems that this group actually manages the security for the Olympic Games in London soon. And to have such group coming to Malaysia and give some training, do you think it will be good? I'm planing to actually find out more but I don't know if I'm wasting my time because no one seem to be aware of such group or such academy. Regalis group is actually certified by another group called Security Industry Authority (www.sia.homeoffice.gov.uk/) which is another big name.

To have 2 big groups from United Kingdom and supported by Malaysian Government, should be ok right? And since it is supported by government, do you think they will ask them to train our police for to be better?

Anyone here have deep knowledge regarding security and bodyguard? Please share some of your thoughts regarding this topic. I'm more than happy to get any feedback.

I hope this topic could also let more people know regarding such service or training. And would you consider taking such training if it is provided by such top group hailing all the way from United Kingdom? I know everyone is concentrated in Bachelors and Masters etc... but what if you could pick up such education, would you even consider signing up for it? I don't want to be the only crazy Malaysian to even consider anything related security.

How is cata going for everyone? Still leveling? Fun and Frustration at heroics? Or raiding already?? Loving the game more and drifting away from your life?

I've been playing non stop myself Playing til sunrise everyday and wake up for dinner. Yamcha session is always after 2am... lol! I hit lv85 like 38 hours after launch (im slowpoke D:) and feel like wanna puke from getting that 9mil exp when hitting lv85.. Relax afterwards and currently doing lots of craps after instead of running heroics more.

Maybe I'm just tired of people not wanting to learn. My group, a tank and 3 dps from our guild, and pug healer. Got stonecore (I rate this worst from my 3-4 heroics ive done so far. I dont know the rest yet), replace healer like 6 times on 1st boss. All healer failed at the burrow phase few times and left. Then when we finally got 1 shammy healer, 1st time stonecore. He still died but he learned from it and we 1 shotted it afterwards. Wipe at least once on each boss but on 2nd attempt its like cake afterwards. Gosh that 2 hours+ there was tiring. I went to farm ores n farm herbs on other lv80 alts, exp from gathering is alot both char got 800k of xp from mining or herbing alone each. Slowly level up profession, farm stuff myself instead of buying from AH because I'm being stingy and everyone is ripping everyone off. Then myself started to rip other ppl off too by posting mats n stuff i've farmed. Complete quest in continent that I didn't visit when leveling. Ok i'll go sleep now, maybe when I wake up later I'll be good girl and go run more heroics... I wonder when will my guild start raiding... hmmm

[WTA] How to stay afk in server

If I afk like 20-30mins (not sure how long) I will get booted and go to character select screen.

Is there anyway I could afk and stay in the server as long as i get no dc from streamyx?

A guy from my guild seems to be able to stay afk all night without getting booted off.

And I always see his char afk in town too. He don't have any addons either.

He himself don't know why

Is there a way to really stay in server without getting booted?

C++ numbers calculation

hi codemasters, I'm actually done with my program where I have to draw a table for sin
But there is one problem which I don't really know how to fix

when my program calculates sin*180 and 360.. the answer will be umm.. weird~ Instead of 0, it shows couple of numbers and an alphabet.
I know this has something to do with hexa or octa or something but nvm, main question is how do i make it display numbers only?

Not sure if anyone asked (sorry if this is a repost), since the only threads Ive seen are all about wanting the guest pass.

Since guest pass is limited, and lot people wanted to try out,

is it ok to install for all of my friends and I just help them do a 1 time log in for them so they can play as guest and try campaign or vs AI etc etc?

Most of my classmates are really looking forward to the game but dont want to fork out RM200+ just for a game, and they dont have stable internet connection either.

And they are really more than happy if they can only play offline only (Seriously!!! THey are LIKE OMG U R THE BEST! *worships me*).

I saw somewhere before where after certain amount of time it will expire or something.

But I can just log in again for them, so no problem since I see them most of the time.

My battlenet ID wont kena blacklist right.....?

Super hot GFX when playing SC2

Usually I only play WoW or Sims3 on this pc, my temperature usually sits around 60°C ish .. max 70°C on really rare ocasion...

But last night when I was playing SC2, I notice my gfx fan is making really loud noise, especially during cutscene.
So I alt-tab out, wondering whats the temp like. It was sitting around 89°C!

But it immediately drop 1°C every second when I alt tab out of the game til around 60°C, I go back to the game and within 20seconds or so my gfx fan start making noises again.

I'm not really sure if this are the normal temperature for graphic cards but so sakit hati seeing it suffering at almost 90°C >.< like 10°C away from boiling...

Will it end up become a piece of goreng gfx very soon if I continue playing with that temperature?

It usually stays around 45°C only when surfing sites/idle.

Should I change my GFX fan? My last round of cleaning the fan is around 2 weeks ago. Currently using GTX275 card, and this only happens on SC2.

I suspect SC2 is too sexy hawt for my pc that it the fan got "turned on"

PTPTN Loan

I'm currently still studying, my friend said if I've applied for PTPTN, I could get a full loan amount for my fees which is around 40-45k..

So I'm still juggling if I should take the loan or not.

I don't want the loan because I don't really need the money, my dad can still handle my fees, and I don't want to be tied with a loan after graduating, its like when I start working, I have to allocate my salary to pay back the loan.

But I've been reading and hearing that people earn around or average of 10% from unit trust etc etc especially on long term basis.

If I really get the loan, I'll let my dad handle the investment. I don't dare to discuss with him yet because there's so many uncertain things in my mind about this.

So my point is, should I take the loan while I still can since its the lowest interest rate loan I can possible get atm... (I'm still confused about the rate actually, mostly say 3% here, but my friends kept saying 1% only 0.o??)

Then I'll invest every single cent of it immediately after getting the cash for each semester, I'll pay the minimum every month so I can maximize my profit from the investment with the cash on hand I have.

But I can't help to think that I'm toooooo simple minded and this plan is like a child thinking

Should I apply for the loan while I still can, or should I just stop wasting my time on this crazy idea and just concentrate on my studies instead...

Installed 64bit but shows 32bit

I've downloaded the 64bit (x86) version of Windows 7 Professional from the MSDNAA website, they give 1 copy free for students.

I've already downloaded the software and burned into a cd.

Problem is after installing it, it says 32 bit only

but the file I've downloaded even says x86 win 7..

I have the cd key, so I'm wondering if I can go buy one non-ori xp from the pc shop and install?

Or anyone willing to mail/cod a copy of 64bit Win7 Professional?
