Is it really too many grab driver out there compared to market demand?
How much an average earning for a grab driver driving 8-10 hours a day?

I’m interested in grab driving partner but heard now the condition is really bad for grab driver.
Renting a car from Grab cost RM50/day, for 3 months. Even not working still have to pay, of course I will work everyday.

Doing dispatch now, it’s really terrible here in Goget and Lalamove. Just wondering how is it for Grab right now.

Kancil modification to Mira

Looking to get an old Kancil from the 90s.
Then my uncle will help on the mechanical parts and overhaul.

I want to get a full facelift, so that it look like decent Mira.

Full tinting
New Paint (inside and outside)
Front+Rear+Side Mira Bodykit (full body)
Dashboard
Steering Wheel
Gearstick
Pedal
New comfortable Mira seats
Maybe some other parts like inner part of the door make it nice la, since it look so bad.
Generally just the 'LOOK' not touching other parts like power window etc.

How much you think I have to fork out? I'm at KL, will have to look for car saloon in klang valley.
I don't have a lot of budget, thus will prioritize important part first.

*just to make it a decent mira looking, doesn't have to be so pro look like racing car*

90's Daihatsu Charade, Detomaso and Mira

these are small compact car, fuel saving or at least fine for Detomaso.
What you guys think of these old car? reliable? of course will get a mechanic to check first la before buying it.
Maintenance wise, i was wondering. if kong then how.

Else, I stick to early 2000's Kancil or Saga LMST.
I thought at least the old daihatsu mira is heavier and less body rolling than kancil, in accident still can protect me. Charade is a little bigger and it's cool.

USED Saga LMST vs Kancil 850 vs Kia Picanto

Very soon i will get my P license.
I have been considering many used car, narrow down to these 3 la, considering the price and fc.

My favorite is Kia Picanto though, worst is kancil (so small) but FC sure best lor... so i take it in somehow. It's FC compensate the rest so I'm kinda fine with it now.

I do freelance dispatch, sending flowers, document and small parcel. Expect to get stuck in traffic but will opt for highway whenever possible. should be 50:50 i guess.

Saga LMST 1.3 engine Manual : RM4-5k
Perodua Kancil 850 auto: RM4-5k
Kia Picanto 1.1 auto: 5-7k

All range from year about 04-05, price NOT OTR.

My comparing all the aspects, FC , Maintenance cost, and Comfort...which one is your choice, and why?
To me Comfort , FC and Maintenance cost are equally important, I will be driving for 6-10 hours a day if hardworking lol.
I will travel alot thus FC is essential, but seated for so many hours in the car sure Comfort also is a huge factor. Maintenance sure heavier since I travel alot.

I'm just a regular swimmer. Thinking of getting an STA or Austswim to become a swimming instructor.
But I was like, hmmm... maybe Men too can have some fun in synchronized swimming?
Doesn't have to like train so hard to join competition, maybe have some fun! But it's rare!

Used car over 10 years

I'm planning to buy a used car, and my budget seems able to offer car from 10-15 years.
Well, I saw one Kia picanto that has regular service in Kia center.
While other look fine from the outside.
Proton Saga/Iswara LMST are plenty too, being proton the repair is easier.
There are many options for used car but mostly 10 years at least...
so what you think of the used car in this age?

Swimming Bronze Medallion course

Hi

I have been swimming for 2 months, learning from youtube. I'm 32 LOL kinda old.
Well, i have to say my skill is fine, doing 50m on freestyle and backstroke are of no problem, breaststroke 25m or more, and butterfly less than 25m.

I'm thinking of trainning and sit for the test for the LSSM/ILS Bronze medallion course, do you know where offer this course, and what is the fees? Found some venues and email them but received no reply, not sure if they still on business.
Then I found Dswim in bukit jalil that does offer AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water safety but it cost AUD540! the pre-requisite are freestyle and backstroke 50m, something that i can do, so yay! But a little expensive i think.

Please share the info if you have any, and i wonder how much time required to complete the course.

I'm planning to get this car, match my budget!

It's a compact car, heard it's FC is great! But i'm not sure if this car is problematic or not.
If you're the owner, please provide feedback on this car on FC, maintenance, reliability etc.

Naza Suria CKD cost less than 10k from 07-08
while
Kia Picanto CBD cost the same but 05-06, few years older.

I'm a frequent traveler, doing kinda dispatch.
Need a compact and fuel efficient car. not too small like Kancil because it can't transport larger items. not really big items but generally sometimes help to dispatch larger items (moderate size).

I really like Naza Bestari (peugeot 206), but been considering and thinking twice.
Kia picanto kinda cool though not my taste but do the job fine.

any other suggestion?
with a budget below RM10k OTR, i can't be too picky LOL
