Belkin ADSL2+ Modem with wireless G router

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx 512
Location: Klang
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: Belkin ADSL2+ with high speed mode wireless G router model # F5D7633-4 ver.1144ak
Router: as above
Firewall used: yes

Problem details
First occurence of problem: since i bought it
Problem frequency: always
Problem description:

This modem can be connected to internet easily at my rented house in serdang, but cant connect at my own house in klang. However, i have a prolink working fine in my own house (which i use to post this).

This suggests that the belkin is working fine as it can connect at my rented house in serdang. Then why it cannot connect at my own house in klang? Since the prolink is working fine at my own house the streamyx line should be fine.

What is the cause of this problem? plz help T.T

I have also read a lot of treads regarding this modem problem.. but couldnt find an solution. The most possible i've seen is to change the location of DSLAM.

Post 30

-Have anyone experience this problem before?

SP3 Removes checkbox for IE

i just got my eeepc 1000h today, and i found that my checkbox to remove IE from the desktop is missing..both under Customize Desktop and under Internet option>advance

researched online and found that SP3 had removed the checkboxs for IE as well as the IE icon on the desktop.

however, i think that Asus had restored the desktop's IE icon, which i dont want.

how do i make the checkbox reappear again?

or at least how do i remove it the icon?

its not a shortcut, in other words when right click theres no delete or cut.

help help

hi all.

i would like to know the position of brake pad relative to the brake disc..

1) is the pads suppose to touch the disc till the outer most area? or the contact area will fall within the surface of the disc and leave one thin uncontacted circular line at the perimeter or the disc?

2) can we adjust the pads position relative to the disc?
