A serial fire bomber on a motorcycle is torching luxury cars, leaving the police in a daze and sparking a firestorm of fear among residents in Bangsar and Damansara Heights.

In less than a week, the firestarter has turned six luxury cars there into smoking, burnt-out hulks.

Another torching in Sentul may also be the work of the diabolical arsonist.

The police are scrambling to find the motive behind the attacks before the pyromaniac strikes again.

Brickfields district police chief ACP Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid said police were waiting for the Chemistry Department, the Fire and Rescue Department and forensic reports.

The first three fire bombings occurred on Dec 27, and even before the smoke had cleared from these attacks, investigators were called in to Bukit Bandaraya and Bangsar Park yesterday.

Three more luxury cars had been torched at 6am.

Two cars, a BMW 5 Series and a Mercedes Benz C200, were parked outside the owners' homes in Jalan Pudina, Bukit Bandaraya, while the car that was gutted in Bangsar Park was a Mercedes Benz E230.

On Dec 27, a Mercedes 190 and a Kia Sorento were reportedly torched in Jalan Terasek, Bangsar Baru, while another car was set ablaze in Jalan Jelutong, in Damansara Heights, between 4pm and 4.30pm. The Sentul torching occurred on the same day at 2.30pm.

Police are working on the theory that it is the work of the same individual.

Witnesses reported seeing a man smashing windshields and pouring some sort of liquid into the vehicles.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, had also thrown something into the cars before setting them ablaze and speeding off on his motorcycle. The suspect wore a full-faced helmet.

Witnesses did not get the make of the motorcycle or the registration number plate.

Police recorded a number of statements yesterday and residents who spoke to Malay Mail said there was no link between the three car owners, other than that they owned luxury cars.

The owners have said that they had no known enemies and were not involved in any disputes. Bukit Bandaraya is patrolled by private security guards hired by the residents’ association. Residents pay RM50 per household a month.

Bukit Bandaraya Residents' Association deputy president Mumtaz Ali said security guards patrol Jalan Pudina every day but none spotted the suspect.

Car vibrating at certain speed

My car start vibrating hard when it reaches 90km/h to 110km/h... Very funny situation... From 120 onwards it stops vibrate... And if i let go the pedal also it stop vibrate... Can any pro here tell me wat is wrong with it?
