Lowyat kopitiam fascination with cheap local cars

I discovered one of the most cringeworthy cliche among lowyat members which is the fascination with cheap local or jap cars eg. Myvi, Vios, Honda City

Based on their logic, you must have RM 20k monthly salary to own a BMW 3 series, RM 30k to own E Class.

This is such an unambitious thinking!

It is no wonder 80% of the lowyat members are still 8-5pm office boy!

You do not need to follow the less successful crowd who preach 12x monthy salary rule

A car buyer can put a higher downpayment that far exceed the minimum

A friend of mine who bought the latest BMW X5 even put RM 150k as downpayment!

Just because lowyat members cannot afford the downpayment, no need to pull down able people to your level!

They will put you on hotline for few minutes before answering before a customer service executive answer your call and no follow up whatsoever

Emailed them and was never replied

Even shitty cimb bank is much more responsive to customer needs and problems
