installer can't run file!

i wanted to install this software but the only available file i could run was a .dist file. but as soon as i click on it, a pop up window says

"The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)"
Couldn't open "DISTRIBUTION.DIST".

can someone help me out here?

let's say there's this girl who:

-has a tattoo on her arm (nothing major, not like it's a skull or dragon)
-listens to rock/metal
-loves horror movies
-loves games like battlefield, condemned, amnesia, f.e.a.r etc. (you know, anything scary and bloody)
-intrigued by the paranormal stuff

...basically acts kind of unladylike. but she doesn't swear or drink or smoke. or do drugs. and yes, she can sometimes wear skirts and dresses when she feels like it.

do guys find girls like her too much to handle? or is she so unladylike that she's undateable? if she was your girlfriend, would you ask her to change? or would you be scared to bring her home to your parents in case they disapprove?

what's your opinion on the goth subculture? seems that they don't make a good impression on a lot of ppl, with them being mistaken as worshiping satan and stuff.

this psychiatrist that i used to see seems to think that i'm a goth, just because i like metal and movies like the nightmare before christmas, which i know is just stupid because liking those stuff doesn't make you a goth.

so what does? and would you be upset if YOU were called a goth, or feel pleased and proud? i know some who would be happy to hear something like that. kinda like some ppl who like acting 'emo' or being called 'emo', which they think is a trend or personality or whatever.......

i'm planning to get my hair cut short plus do some highlights. anyone knows a good place where i can get it done at a reasonable price? still a student after all. preferably somewhere in pj. btw, question: i would like to have 2 different colours of highlights, would it cost more? do they charge you by how many streaks of colour you want on your hair?

man, i used to LOVE watching this cartoon. cute, dumb animals dying a horrible death.....nothing beats that! of course, i still am an animal lover.
it's sad that MTV stopped airing them, i wouldn't mind a re-run. any fans of this cartoon?

help on choosing the right college

i'm taking my spm examination this year and would like to apply for the january intake. interested in film production, media studies...so i guess it's mass com for me! right now, i'm really attracted to what KDU has to offer, but maybe someone else could give me a few pointers on how to choose the right college or maybe even recommend me one. thanks alot for the help.
