Consolidate Excel Data from Multiple Workbooks

Hi,

I want to create Excel worksheet to consolidate contents from many external workbooks, below is the scenario:

I have workbooks in different folder with the same name, 1 sheet with unique name in each workbook:

Root \ FolderA \ Workbook1.xlsx \ SheetA
Root \ FolderB \ Workbook1.xlsx \ SheetB
Root \ FolderC \ Workbook1.xlsx \ SheetC
Root \ FolderD \ Workbook1.xlsx \ SheetD
Root \ FolderE \ Workbook1.xlsx \ SheetE

Root \ FolderA \ Workbook2.xlsx \ SheetA
Root \ FolderB \ Workbook2.xlsx \ SheetB
Root \ FolderC \ Workbook2.xlsx \ SheetC
Root \ FolderD \ Workbook2.xlsx \ SheetD
Root \ FolderE \ Workbook2.xlsx \ SheetE

The content of the every sheet is Column A: Name list (same number of name for all sheet), Column B: Number.

The Sheet I want to create will be:

(1) Root \ Summary.xlsx \ Sheet1

Content are:
Column A: Name list
Column B: Sheet A Col B from Workbook1 in folder A
Column C: Sheet B Col B from Workbook1 in folder B
Column D: Sheet C Col B from Workbook1 in folder C
Column E: Sheet D Col B from Workbook1 in folder D
Column F: Sheet E Col B from Workbook1 in folder E

(2) Root \ Summary.xlsx \ Sheet2

Content are:
Column A: Name list
Column B: Sheet A Col B from Workbook2 in folder A
Column C: Sheet B Col B from Workbook2 in folder B
Column D: Sheet C Col B from Workbook2 in folder C
Column E: Sheet D Col B from Workbook2 in folder D
Column F: Sheet E Col B from Workbook2 in folder E

May I know how I can achieve this?

Installed Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Experiencing slow web browsing and downloading speed.

MSN 2011 keep on hanging right after login.

Same problem when using 32bit.

Downloaded all latest updates and drivers.

Never happen on same machine while using RC version.

Anyone please help..

Ms Outlook email accounts confirmation

I am using Ms Outlook 2003 with 2 email accounts. When I reply my email message, I may send by the wrong account if I forgot to double check the account used.

How do I prevent this from happening?
Is there any plugin or settings, that can prompt me about the account used to send the email message after I click on the "Send" button?

Linksys WAG54G2

Recently just bought a Linksys WAG54G2 Gateway.
Upgraded to latest firmware to solved disconnection problem.

Got 1 problem since the first use of the Gateway: whatever port number I forwarded has no effect on my connection.
My application use Port 6000, I added it to my port forwarding list but the port never open for the external connection to connect the application.
I enable remote management on port 8080, then scan using IP scanner, Only port 8080 is open but not port 6000.

Anyone having the same problem? I notice a lot of WAG54G2 users are complaining about this device.
Any solutions or tutorial to get my port forwarding work?

Yesterday, the modem at one of my site was damaged. TM send someone replaced it and set it to connect to WAN.

He set the LAN IP in the same family of WAN IP:

QUOTE

WAN: 212.xxx.xxx.xx1
LAN: 212.xxx.xxx.xx2

With this setting, Internet is up.

I change the setting to our LAN IP:

QUOTE

WAN: 212.xxx.xxx.xx1
LAN: 192.xxx.xxx.xx1

The Internet down. Flushed DNS, not working too.

How to solve this?

I have a FreeBSD proxy server, I want to reformat it into CentOS to make it become hosting server.

Is there any way I can backup the hard disc image into USB storage so that I can restore it back when needed?

The proxy server is build using Squid Proxy on FreeBSD, if cannot make the disc image can I just backup the Squid settings to USB storage? so that I can restore it into another FreeBSD OS.

I want to create a web based computer maintenance record system. I have my own Windows based web host, I know a little bit of php and mysql.

The system I want is to records the "Login date" "Login time" "Description" "Attachment" "Location" "Status" "Logout date" "Logout time" of a computer maintenance job.

Now I need code snippet to input, update or delete the entry from mysql database.

I am stuck in Attachment upload function.

When I click any download link in IE 8, it will freeze and pop up a thing "Internet Explorer stopped working".

It happened on Windows Vista and Windows 7 RC.

Vista: Slow network transfer

When I transferring my files from Microsoft Windows Vista to Windows NT4 Server, the speed is extremely slow (approximately 50kbps only ).

When I first get this Vista machine, my transfer speed is slow; but after a while, I am not sure what had happened, the speed became normal. Recently my OS corrupted and I reformat my hard disk and install back Vista, the transfer speed became slow again.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Netbook explorer.exe startup error

I have a Acer One Netbook on hand - a brand new one, almost everytime I switch it on, the Microsoft error reporter will appear and I force to close my explorer.exe. After that, everything working good.

I updated the virus definition and scan, no virus found. I turned off all unnecessary startup programs. I set pagefile to 2x or my RAM. None of them help...

Is it hardware problem?
