Employer inconsistent with paying salary on time

Hey all. I've managed to land my first job after like 2 years of job hunting. I'm currently working as a cook in some restaurant here.

Now I've been working full time for nearly 3 months now there and my employer's a bit inconsistent with paying my salary on time. Like it's really random. I started in December and I got my December salary late by one day. January's was on time and now Feb's one is already 6 days late.

So what should I do in the meantime? I am already considering finding another job if my salary for March and April are late but at the same time I also need enough money in my savings to survive in case I have to go through another 2 years of job hunting, and I also don't want to keep chasing my boss for my salary every time my salary is late.
