Autism School/Institution?

Hi , I've got a question regarding special needs schools/institutions/therapy.

Quick rundown , I've got a non-verbal autistic sibling who's currently enrolled in an autistic care center/therapy , but currently not very satisfied of the results/environment.

We wanna get him/her into a school/therapeutic institution but unfortunately his/her age is well above what they would accept (Transitioning from teen to adult) . Most I can find is early interventions not befitting of his/her age. We would really like to send him/her into a place where he/her can 'socialize' as we've seen positive outcome from his/her previous schooling years.

Running out of places to ask around , so might as well as serious k/ for people who might have care experiences for special needs people.

Any schools/care centers/institutions that would accept older students? Especially in the Klang Valley , something that's not prohibitively expensive approx. rm 3-4k a month ? Currently employing a caretaker and other methods of therapy such as hippotherapy so yeah not that keen on spending another mini fortune.

First 1000km Service

In a pickle here .

Recently just picked up a new Toy**a . Reached 1000km , and wanted to do its 'first' service . To my surprise the next service is 5k km . Checked again with sales turns out that the first service has been done before receiving the car.

Apparently the first so called 1000km service was done on a 2km mileage ! No shit im upset , sales made excuses that voucher was expiring etc yada yada.

This completely misses the purpose of having the 1000km service after a break in period. Also what kind of SC would accept a service at 2km mileage??

What should i do ? should i just proceed with another 1k km service on my own volition at a different SC or just wait for the next interval .

[Advice needed] Navicular fracture misdiagnosis?

Hi guys , so today I went in for a another checkup ever since I 'sprained' my ankle since its been almost 4 weeks and the pain really hasn't gone away.

Initially diagnosed as a soft tissue injury by a clinic , fell from a few steps of stairs with my right foot tilted at an angle from a curb taking the full brunt , initially could not even walk or put any weight in the first 2 days.

Met an orthopedic specialist and got an Xray . I'm not medical professional , but I'm pretty sure that's a goddamned fracture.

Explained about my injury , and the specialist went on about me having a flat foot and completely dismissed the initial trauma that my right foot experienced and revolved around my flat foot being the reason of my tibialis posterior syndrome. Specialist sent me in for an Xray , and lo and behold there seems to be something wrong with my right foots navicular bone.

The radiologist doctor deemed it as a 'corticated ossicle' for some reason and compared both foot. Left foot did not show anything similar to that. With that the radiologist suggests that a clinical correlation is to be done by the specialist.

My pain actually radiates from the navicular bone and my mobility is limited to that , so in my personal opinion its obvious that something is wrong with that bone as the Xray suggests

Met with the specialist again , dude went on about my flat foot again and told me to use footwear to aid my flat foot??? Told me that the injury to the bone is an old injury and totally dismissed it.

Received no treatment what so ever but advice for my flatfoot alongside with my 'tibialis posterior syndrome' and told me to not do anything physically hard to my foot , this kinda shocked me to say the least.

So any medical experts here? Should I go seek a second opinion from another institution ? Fractures like these are really hard to heal , I'm not going to take the risk of it not healing properly as my routine is affected severely. I cant even walk fast ffs.

TLDR ; met specialist , got xray , dismissed the obvious xray results , should I get a second opinion from another hospital ?

Or am I just overreacting.

So I have a medical card . The medical card is great medic xtra (yes I know its great eastern , no need to rub it on my face).

Thankfully I've never used it before since I remained relatively healthy for a while not requiring any urgent medical needs , but I have no idea on how the hell the medical card works.

But now I suffered an injury on my right foot. Went to the clinic with standard treatment deemed to be a soft tissue injury with advice from the Dr to seek the hospital if the pain stays for another 2 weeks or so.

Its now been around 3-4 weeks and I still feel pain, although not as bad as it was on the first few days of the initial injury. I still walk awkwardly , going up and down stairs pains it and I haven't been doing my regular exercises like running and squats / leg days because of it (routine affected).

So I'm planning to get it checked at the hospital. So my question is , can I claim it on my medical card ? Because I've been paying it quite a while and I'm thinking that I should use it. But to my knowledge its only applicable if I get 'admitted' to the hospital . So does getting treatment at the hospital constitute as admission? Not familiar with the semantics.

Inb4 ask my agent. I did , his/her engrish is quite bad so I barely understand what she/him is trying to get across.

Is it only claimable as an inpatient or outpatients get the same benefit as well?

Low heart rate and low HRV

Hi!

Just a quick question should i be worried.

I have a relatively low resting heart rate, which is around 41-45 bpm. But when I sleep it stools even lower in the 30s at certain points of my sleep.

I've also noticed my HRV also gets really low sometimes at 20ms-40ms during those periods.

Of course I've measured it using an Apple watch so it might not be as accurate (only managed to check the heart rate on a medical device which is spot on, once got held up in the clinic when I had a fever because my heart rate was too 'low)

A bit of background I'm active. I do exercise on a regular basis. 20s age group. I have no issues doing steady state cardio and intense workouts.

Just wanting other opinions before I go ahead and just meet a cardiologist. Had a medical check up done twice this year with blood work, everything came out fine.

I do have states of low energy and general sleepiness but that may be because of my sleep.
