If you share something, please make sure you know what you are talking about, and also please at least make sure you are certified to know what you are talking about. If you share a medical article but you are not a certified doctor, med student or have any connection in the medical field, your reasoning or debate points is moot. Please note that there are still people that are not fully well-equip about things they don't understand. If they read it, they can't judge whether or not it is correct or fake.

You maybe a troll, but whatever you are sharing/spreading, there are still people who are still uncertain of what they read or know. If one reads an article you shared on 'how to prevent a sickness by taking an unknown medicine' and they really take action and the patient dies, you are responsible, not the person who posted/wrote the article. You are partly to be blamed as well.

Sure, this is the internet, no one knows your identity if they want to sue the person who share the information, but when you die, you will be judged by god himself. You may or may not be able to sleep well at night by your actions.

I ordered something for my friend from Perak to Seremban. It arrived at their post office already they attempt to deliver it just now but now suddenly they say delivery cancelled and on hold.

Means what? They will do the delivery tomorrow? I read complains about them and they are really bad wei.

MCO has started since May and it's nearly 3 months with the numbers rising non-stop. What used to be in hundreds, became single digit thousands and now, double digit thousand. Clearly what 'preventive measures' that the government is doing failed. That's a fact. However, how about those businesses that has been closed for months? Car wash, hair saloons, electrical and furniture shops, hotels and etc have been closed. Those are still people who are trying to make a living. Ya, the government gave some 'temporarily assistance', but how does a 1 time payment helps? How much RM1k can help those businesses that already lost 3 months worth of money because they can't earn?

This is ridiculous. Clearly the government gives 0 fucks about the rakyat as long they can stay in power. How many people are already committing suicide due to being jobless? Yes, I was once a supporter for MCO, being lives are more important than economy. That was when the pandemic was handled properly. But now? The situation became worst. This MCO clearly failed to do its job. How on earth is the numbers are increasing when we are already in a lockdown? Oh wait, 'half-assed lockdown'. Look at Australia and New Zealand. Immediately they see around 10 new cases or less, they call straight a proper lockdown. PROPER lockdown, mind you.

Here? Still can go to work. Factories which is the main 'provider' is still on-going. And don't get me started with the ministers keeps on breaking their own SOP. Rakyat is at fault as well. I knowlah, dah setahun lebih tak raya and enjoy betul2. It's been nearly so long we could interstate travel. But why people are still so stupid and selfish to still try to balik kampung? Yes, it has been forever, but still, you indirectly kill your family members. The tak tau attitude will be your downfall of your family.

Why must us rakyat suffer for the government's incompetence? Clearly the gov don't care about us. They know the sins they have accumulated and will be carried to the afterlife. Blood is on their hands. How could they be so heartless and calm for the biggest fucked up in Malaysia history? 64 years of independence and got destroyed within a year. How could they not feel guilty for the destruction of Malaysia due to their negligence?

Malaysia is beyond saving and not worth living anymore. That's a fact for me.

IPOH: Hanya makan bubur sehari sekali dan kutip sayur-sayur di tepi jalan.

Itu rutin yang dilalui seorang ibu tunggal di sini sejak dua tahun lalu selepas hilang pekerjaan berikutan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP).

R Suganthi, 53, berkata, keadaan itu terpaksa diharungi bersama anak perempuannya, M Lalithambiga, 33, akibat kesempitan hidup dan wang.

Dia yang kini hidup menumpang di rumah rakan mengakui pada mulanya malu untuk meminta bantuan, namun terpaksa merayu keprihatinan orang ramai selepas tidak lagi sanggup melihat anak perempuannya yang menderita sakit tulang belakang tidak makan dan minum.

"Sepanjang dua tahun ini, kawan-kawanlah yang banyak bantu, ada yang beri duit dan ada juga belikan barang dapur untuk kami dua beranak makan, jadi dengan bekalan makanan itulah kami berjimat.

"Kami makan hanya satu kali sehari, itu pun bubur nasi kosong yang dicampur dengan bawang dan cili goreng, biasanya kami akan makan lewat dalam jam 4 ke 5 petang supaya dapat alas perut sampai ke malam," katanya ketika ditemui pemberita di sini pada Khamis.

Suganthi yang sebelum ini bekerja sebagai pengawal keselamatan di sebuah kolej swasta berkata, oleh kerana tidak mempunyai wang bagi membeli keperluan dapur, dia hanya mengutip tumbuhan yang boleh dijadikan sayur di tepi-tepi jalan sekitar rumah.

"Selagi boleh bertahan, saya akan bertahan... sebenarnya saya tidak kisah kalau saya tak makan, tetapi bila mengenangkan keadaan anak yang sakit tidak makan, hati saya sedih, rasa seperti ibu yang tidak berguna," katanya.

Dia berkata, anaknya pernah terlibat dalam kemalangan pada 2011 lalu hingga mengakibatkan hilang ingatan dan memberi kesan sampingan terhadap kesihatannya sehingga tidak mampu untuk bekerja.

Katanya, dia berharap ada pihak sudi tampil membantu terutama menyediakan rumah sewa untuk dia dan anaknya tinggal lebih selesa.

"Selepas diminta keluar dari rumah sewa dulu, saya tinggal di rumah rakan, kebetulan rumah itu mahu dijual tetapi belum ada pembeli, jadi saya tinggal di sana.

"Selepas itu, rakan saya tawarkan duduk di salah satu rumahnya di Ipoh, sudah enam bulan kami tinggal menumpang di sini, selepas ini tidak tahu ke mana pula arah hidup kami," katanya.
Keperitan hidup keluarga berkenaan mendapat perhatian Yayasan Era Suria (YES) dan Srikandi Perak yang hadir menyampaikan bantuan kewangan dan barangan keperluan dapur.

Pengerusi YES Perak, Nor Raidah Awang berkata, keluarga itu telah menghubungi pihak yayasan pada Rabu memaklumkan bahawa mereka telah terputus bekalan makanan.
"Kami mengambil inisiatif menyediakan barangan seperti beras, sardin, gula, tepung, roti dan mihun bagi memastikan mereka dapat makan," katanya.

KUALA LUMPUR: Gara-gara menjalanikan latihan silat tanpa mematuhi prosedur operasi standard (SOP), seorang penganjur dikenakan kompaun RM10,000 manakala tujuh lagi individu dikompaun RM2,000 setiap seorang di sebuah rumah di Bandar Utama, pada tengah malam Rabu.

Menurut Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya, Asisten Komisioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid kegiatan itu dikesan pihaknya selepas sepasukan anggota dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Petaling Jaya melakukan pemeriksaan di rumah berkenaan pada jam 12.10 tengah malam.

"(Ketika) pemeriksaan di ruangan tingkat atas rumah terbabit, pihak polis mendapati sekumpulan individu sedang menjalankan aktiviti latihan persilatan tanpa mematuhi SOP yang ditetapkan oleh Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) dalam tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) 3.0.

"Pihak polis telah mengeluarkan kompaun RM10,000 kepada penganjur manakala tujuh lagi pengunjung dikenakan kompaun RM2,000 seorang," jelasnya dalam kenyataan media pada Rabu.
Katanya, kesemua yang dikompaun berusia dalam lingkungan 26 hingga 51 tahun.

Mereka dikompaun di bawah Peraturan 17(1) Peraturan-Peraturan Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit Berjangkit (Langkah-langkah di dalam kawasan tempat jangkitan) 2021 kerana gagal mematuhi SOP yang ditetapkan MKN.

"Justeru pihak PDRM memberi amaran kepada orang ramai supaya mematuhi PKP 3.0.

"Kegagalan mematuhi arahan ini membolehkan orang ramai dikompaun atau ditangkap dan seterusnya didakwa di mahkamah mengikut peruntukan undang-undang," tegasnya lagi.

Australia's Victoria state to enter COVID-19

SYDNEY: Australia's second most populous state of Victoria will enter a one-week COVID-19 lockdown forcing its near 7 million residents to remain home except for essential business as authorities struggle to contain a highly-infectious outbreak.

"We're dealing with a highly infectious strain of the virus, a variant of concern, which is running faster than we have ever recorded," Victoria state Acting Premier James Merlino told reporters in Melbourne.

"Unless something drastic happens, this will become increasingly uncontrollable."

Merlino said contact tracers have identified more than 10,000 primary and secondary contacts who would need to quarantine, test and self-isolate, adding "that number will continue to grow and change".

The fresh cluster of infections in Melbourne detected early this week swelled to 26 on Thursday after 12 new cases overnight, while the number of virus-exposed sites rose above 150.

Victoria state Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said he "absolutely expects" more positive cases to emerge in the coming days as the variant, first detected in India, was likely to be more virulent than the original strains.

The current strain can take one day to infect another person compared with earlier strains which can take about five or six days, Merlino said.

Under the lockdown, from 11.59 pm local time (9.59pm, Singapre time) on Thursday until Jun 3, people will only be allowed to leave their homes for essential work, healthcare, grocery shopping, exercise or to get a coronavirus vaccination.

Several infected contacts have visited crowded hot spots that included sports stadiums and one of the largest shopping centres in the country, raising concerns of a significant outbreak days ahead of the winter season.

Other states and territories have responded to the lockdown by placing tougher border rules for travellers from Victoria.

The states of Western Australia and Tasmania on Thursday closed their borders to Victorian residents following South Australia's move a day earlier. The Northern Territory and Queensland state will ask travellers to undergo a mandatory two-week hotel quarantine.

New South Wales, Australia's most populous state and which shares a border with Victoria, urged residents to defer non-urgent travel to Melbourne.

The lockdown comes just days after authorities reinstated coronavirus curbs for state capital Melbourne, limiting gathering sizes and making masks mandatory in restaurants, hotels and other indoor locations until Jun 4.

Officials have traced the latest cluster, the first in the state in more than three months, back to an overseas traveller infected with a variant first found in India, although the virus transmission path is still unclear.

The unnamed Victoria man tested negative after finishing his quarantine in neighbouring South Australia and flew to Melbourne this month but tested positive six days after he arrived.

Victoria endured one of the world's strictest and longest lockdowns last year after a second wave of COVID-19 killed more than 800 people in the state, amounting for 90 per cent of Australia's total deaths since the pandemic began.

Swift contact tracing, snap lockdowns and strict social distancing rules have helped Australia keep its COVID-19 numbers relatively low, with just over 30,000 cases and 910 deaths.

I just want to know if the gov can track you easily once you sign in the app. All these while I have been signing in via the book manually because I dont like the fact that thr government will track my every movements. Lower/Cancel outside noises

Hi /k, need your advise on something. I am a light sleeper. I can sleep well but any noises no matter how loud or medium it sounds, it will immediately wake me up. I have this neighbour whose 4WD's alarm keeps going off randomly in the middle of the night. I work 6am in the morning and I usually be awake my 5.30am but this 4WD can randomly go off around 3 to 4am at times. How am I supposed to go back to sleep after that? God knows why he doesn't want to fix it as well. I left a note on his car window to fix the damn alarm.

My question is, is there anything which could cancel or lower outside noises I can do for my house/room? My master bedroom is facing the main road, so alot of noises will be heard.
