speaker upgrade

hi k,

i currently use a 2.1 altec lansing ada885 speaker for my tv. the speaker is still working fine but my butt itchy to try another set of speaker.

i have consider to try edifier rt1700bts + t5 sub. it is an upgrade or better for me to use my altec lansing?

or ktard can suggest another set of speaker below rm1000, dont matter if active or passive.

if passive, can u guys suggest me amp,speaker and subwoofer.

brand new or used also can.

i mainly use for movie,game and music.

hi k,
i am using a set of altec lansing ada885 speaker for my tv. the speaker sound nice even though it is a 20years old speaker.

the problem is the remote control for the speaker is missing. so it a bit leceh for me to adjust the speaker volume when im playing game or watch movie. volume can be adjust using the volume knob but ayam lazy to get up from my sofa 🤣.

so is there any method or universal remote that i can use with that speaker?

i try to search the original remote at ebay but the price is mahai for me

hi all.

i would like some opinion from otai here between new saga and used honda city. my max budget is around 60k. this will be my first car since i started working for 3 years.

my main priority is easy to maintain, reliable in the long run, not a fuel guzzler and comfort. i will be using the car maybe just for the weekend and once a month going back to kedah from selangor.most of the time i will drive alone. weekday i will ride motor to work.

the reason i choose sedan is because i gonna get married by next year so it will be my family car.

if i take the saga i can make the installment shorter to 7 years and if i choose city maybe 7 years installment kinda hard for me and opt for 9 years

i hope u all can advice me which is better in the long run or u can suggest another car for me as long as it meet my requirement.

i just receive an offer letter from a company but in the offer letter it did not stated about my rumenuration or my employment status whether i am permenant or contract staff. the offer letter just stated when and where should i be reporting on the first day.

i ask the hr about my rumenuration and she said it will stated in my appointment letter and i will get the appointment letter when i reporting on the first day of my employment. is that practice is common in job market nowadays?

last week ayam had an iv. the process when great and last about 1 hour eventhough ayam gagap2 when speaking london. the hiring manager did not ask me many technical question except the common question bekos ayam fresh grad and my previous job does not relate to the position im iv.

so today ayam try to follow up about the result of iv and the hr reply me this. is this a good sign? or the hr just being polite to me?

1) billion dollar whale - this book about how jolok and ahjib get and spend billion dollar of malaysian money.

2) everything is fck - about hope and what type of hope should we hope for. the author curse alot.

3) subtle art of not give a fck - about our everyday life and what thing should we care and what not to give fck. same author as above. curse alot too.

4) talking to strangers - about how should we communicate with stranger.

current reading is dear girl by ali wong.
