I frequently see the tag Serviced Apartment being thrown around here and there but I couldn't really find a complete explanation on the internet.
I noticed Serviced Apartments are partially furnished, but what are the exact Pros and Cons of a Serviced Apartment compared to a normal Apartment?

Housing Loan

I'm a degree holder been working for 3 yrs and 1 mths, annual salary around 42k.
I'm interested in buying a house for 340k.

I have no commitments and other loans from banks.
How much is the maximum loan I can get?

Question about income tax.

I have a problem, I worked with company A from Jan to Nov 2010 and I resigned and work with company B from Nov 2011 till now.
From my EA form from company A, I see the income tax deduction, but with EA form from company B, I don't see any income tax deduction.
There is also increase in salary after moving to company B.

The question is, I have a higher salary for dec 2011 so my tax bracket is different, does that affect the filing?
Company A tax me until mid november, but company B is not taxing my november and december salary. Should I calculate my tax for november and december based on my a different tax bracket and anything prior a different tax bracket?
So, how should I do my e-filing?
Need guidance. Thanks in advance.

Bridge VM to PPPoE

I need some help from networking gurus here .
I have a host pc (A) with a virtual machine(B) installed.

My host pc has 2 network interface, one is connected to a modem (int1) that connects using pppoe,
the other is connected to another network with internet (int2).

What I plan to do is having A to run using int2 and bridge the pppoe interface of the int1 to B and let B connect to internet via pppoe.

Two seperate connections on a PC.
I have tried a lot of things, VirtualBox, Virtual PC, Windows, Linux. I've tried everything I could see on the internet and everything I could think of but I couldn't accomplish this.

So anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this?

Any notebook with i3/i5/i7 and PCMCIA CardBus?

Grado Repair?

I have a 2 year old (out of warranty) Grado SR-60 (the old one, not SR-60i) which i quite liked. Seldom use it but got into the mood a few days ago, took it out of it's box, plug it in and the Right side doesn't work , tried with multiple devices, modifying L & R Balance proves that Right side is busted . I assume most likely it's the cable's fault though . Never tugged or dropped or submitted it to any kind of abuse but it still died on its own. So anyone know where or who could repair it? And at what cost?

Head Injury

Yesterday morning, my girlfriend slipped in the bathroom and hit the back of her head on concrete dividers on the floor, theres no apparent bleeding but theres a bump on the area of impact. Shortly after, she reported headaches and dizziness and the inability to put her head straight. We went straight into hospital and after all the insurance prodecures, she did a CT scan of her head, and had a specialist looked at it. The specialist said that the CT imagery shows that there are no internal bleeding and is all right so she can be discharged from the hospital the next day, but shortly after the specialist left, she feel like vomitting but due to her having no appetite and didn't ate since the last day, she barely has any content in her stomach to even vomit. Later that night, she complained about her headache worsening. And that her back of her neck hurts. She even showed me the back of her neck and i felt it, I feel some hardened veins and I noticed some visible veins poping out on the shoulder. When I touched it, she says its painful. Seeing the situation worsening, I'm not too sure about what the specialist had said. Today is her second day in the hospital, and we delayed her discharge date. This morning, she woke up this morning and said even turning her head hurts. I don't know what to do now.

Javascript detect close and refresh browser

I have researched for a few days and couldn't get a perfect solution for javascript to detect every close and refresh action on a browser(IE only)

for close, i manage to detect: ALT+F4 key press, [X] button clicked key (but to a certain extent when the browser window is maximized only, but will sometimes be mixed up with refresh button click)
i failed to detect browser's File>Exit context menu command, and taskbar's right click>Close context menu command

for refresh, i managed to detect: CTRL+R and F5 key press,
but failed to detect browser's refresh button click event(due to the flexibility of the navigation toolbar customization ability), and context menu click event, both from View>Refresh and right click on page>refresh, so anyone could guide me to detect those actions that i have failed would be greatly appreciated.
