Anyone taking Kefir here? I heard it's better than those probiotics (yogurt, supplements) we found in the market. I have just started making my own water kefir. I'm now looking for milk kefir grains. Anyone wanna share?

QUOTE

Kefir grains are a combination of bacteria and yeasts in a matrix of proteins, lipids, and sugars. This symbiotic matrix forms "grains" that resemble cauliflower. Many different bacteria and yeasts are found in the kefir grains, which are a complex and highly variable community of micro-organisms.

Milk kefir grains

Water kefir grains

I sent some documents to Singapore with envelope(self-bought, brown colour) + Poslaju (costs me RM25). I just realized that I applied not enough glue to envelope to seal it.
NUS or MMU

It was so unfortunate that JPA did not offer me the overseas scholarship to study Computer Science in US last year. Instead, I was given a local scholarship as a "compensation" to study Computer Science at MMU. Initially, I wanted to reject it so that I could enter Form 6 and apply to NUS after completion of STPM but I was forced to accept it due to the pressure from parents. I'm currently doing Foundation in IT at MMU. Now, I have found a way to enter NUS (self funded) even though I do not have a suitable pre-university qualification (don't ask me how). I will have to ignore the JPA scholarship after I completed my Foundation program if I want to enroll in NUS since JPA havent provided me any contract for the scholarship. What do you think? Should I just continue with MMU or be daring a little? MMU is fine for Comp.Sc but I want to see the world outside. I personally think that university life isnt about learning academic stuff through lectures/tutorials only, there is much more experience to be gained.

Regards.

WinRAP v1.2 [ Open Source ]

If for some reason you would like to hide certain applications running in your Windows system, then this tiny utility should be the right tool that you can consider. Named as WinRAP v1.0 (Windows Running Applications Protector), it allows users to instantly hide any running programs to prevent them from being seen by unauthorized third parties.

Once download the utility, without the need to install it, users can directly execute the program for immediate use. After it has been successfully launched, the utility will display all the running applications instantly and users can selectively highlight on specific running applications and just followed by a ‘Hide’ button click, the applications will disappear from your screen. Similarly, a click on ‘Unhide’ button will bring them back to its original state, allowing all users to view it like normal way. Not to worry about if you have multiple hidden applications but unable to recall them all, the utility will list them down under ‘List of hidden applications’ so that you are aware of which one is still running silently in background consuming some of your CPU cycles. Besides, it allows users to set password (default is 1234) to access to all the configuration such as to ‘Unhide All When Closing’, ‘Disable Task Manager When Locking’ and many more as well as Hotkeys to unlock stealth mode locking and etc. Some other bonuses include Hide desktop Icons, Hide/Unhide all that make it a tiny but yet useful tool for those that are looking for way to make running programs invisible especially when trying to share desktop screen for discussion.

Consumed at less than 300kB, WinRAP v1.0 is compatible with Windows Operating Systems and is free for download.

Source : http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/09/28/d...windows-system/

*I'm the author of this software but I'm just too lazy to write the descriptions.

I'm here to share my VB.NET project source code, just finished the presentation today.

Introduction

QUOTE

WinRAP ( Windows Running Applications Protector ) is a utility which allows you to hide windows application, and hide programs which are running on your screen. It will instantly hide all or certain programs on your screen with a key press in order to prevent uninvited persons from seeing them. It also has a lock feature to forbid others from accessing this utility temporarily. The hidden application can also be restored exactly to the same state before it was hidden. Besides that, it can clean your desktop by hiding unneeded windows applications while leaving them running.
