Rakuten Trade Question

Hi,

I made my first purchase from Rakuten. I bought 40 unit of TM share for long term investment on 7th Sept 2021.

This is share price on that day

Open 6.04
High 6.09
Low 6.02
Close 6.05

However, they charge me 7.81 per share. there's no way I can make profit from this.
Then I ask them to refund. This is what they reply

"Our system had no control over the matching price, and it is based on matching mechanism. The Bursa Exchange matching mechanism in the stock market based on willing buyer and willing seller. The orders in the market then will match depending on demand and supply in the market. You may NOT amend the order if the status is matched"

Can anyone explain what happen? Is this normal?
